How do I get rid of my flinch?
It's really fucking up my groupings
Get some snap caps and practice dry firing.
>>30460158
Keep practicing
>>30460158
practice
also firing with a cadence helps forget about your reaction while firing. Try timing your shots so you fire once every 2 seconds
>helicopter circles your house
That is what 20mm rifles are for.
>>30460135
i live in jacksonville NC this is so common i get worried when it doesn't happen
>>30460135
Stay noided
So, I'm building an AR pistol for HD. My question is, should I go with a 7.5" barrel or a 10.5"?
The gun will never see any kind of distance beyond a maximum of 50 yards. It's strictly a close quarters gun.
>>30460118
Is it in 5.56mm? Or is it a pistol caliber? If it's 5.56mm, stick with 10.5", 7.5" is just more noise and less power.
>>30460152
I'm looking at 5.56 but also considering 300blk. My main concern is over penetration and everybody I talked to suggested a 5.56 shorty with 55gr or less varment/LEO ammo. From what I can tell, fragmentation ammo. And I thought that maybe a 7.5 would be perfect for this application, but I'm not too sure.
>>30460118
dont use a rifle round for home defense, its not a good idea, it can leave wounds that look bad, its loud, i dont know if you have neighbors, but you dont want something that loud, you wont have earpro on. if you want a something like that, i would use something like a scorpion evo, or something of the sort in .45acp
Front seam swivel bail M1 pot helmet I got for $20 from a sketchy british guy at a surplus store. I hope someone died in this, and I think they did because it was coated in mud when I bought it, which implies grave robbery. If someone died in this... More money for me to make
>>30460111
no, it means some retard shot a hole in it and covered it in mud.
>>30460124
I didn't say it was. I said I hoped, and provided a bit of evidence
>>30460143
keep hoping, dumbass. you might find someone stupider than you to buy this worthless bit of metal now.
Fleet farm in my town is putting these out 50% off tomorrow. Anybody know anything about this model? Also new buys thread.
>>30459853
>Fleet farm in my town is putting these out 50% off tomorrow
Shit the ones where I live went on sale 2 weeks ago. Huldras too. I picked up two Huldras because at 50% off why the fuck not?
>>30459881
Yeah they're clearing them out. Guy said if I show up when doors open I'll be able to get one since the last shipment just came in.
>>30459902
Sad that Fleet, my favorite store, is dumping it's ARs but I guess that's what happens when you sell your company to a bunch of (((New York Financiers)))
Hiya /k/omrades,
I was wondering if someone who has both a mini-14 and an AR-15 could help me out. I need a side-by-side picture like the one posted, but with a mini that doesn't have a magazine sticking out of it. I need it to look as BB gun-like as possible.
>>30459653
not my picture, but:

>>30459726
Also good, thank you sir.
>>30459762
As an aside, mini 14s don't come with flush magazines standard like the 10/22 does, Commifornia and Jew York aside.
Best gun to kill yourself with and where to shoot?
I got some benzos so I will be incapable of pussying out.
Don't kill yourself with a gun, fag. That only gives the antis an excuse. Ask /b/ how to make an exit bag.
22 short.
Aim for dingus
>>30459144
Helium and a bag. Fun for the whole family when they discover the body and get the mask off. Their higher pitched wails will be the sign of a great time.
What are good options for car carry
Also would a holster in the passenger console area (red) be practical? It would keep the gun out of sight and wouldn't pop up above the center console
>>30459089
Isn't this type of thing wicked illegal in most states? I thought you have to have it in the trunk or locked up
>>30459579
It's legal in Washingguns as long as you have a WA driver's license and Concealed Pistol License. Car carry is considered CC.
Hey /k/ I am >>30439775
and I am delivering, albeit a few days late.
Here is my Maine Prepper archive.

>>30459054
brilliant thank you.
just came from the range and went through 50 rounds with our new home defense shotgun (20 gauge 870 express). do I have to clean it?
>>30459020
Nope, but it's generally a good idea to clean it somewhat often
>>30459020
Have you ever heard of YouTube? Kind of a new site. You should check it out
Clean your fucking guns, you lazy prick. If you can't be half assed to literally just spray some Hoppe's 9 down the barrel and run a boresnake through it, you are not responsible enough for firearms.
California is about to lose its second amendment and hope any one from California cairs to help me fight I'm tierd of feeling alone in this fight
Report them lost before the law is signed, continue shooting.
haha enjoy your camo collections you cucks
>>30458960
Calicuck reporting for duty f.am, what do you emed me to do? I'm leaving to Arizona soon, but im willing to do whatever it takes to help this shithole while I'm still here
Why in the fuck isn't hearing protection a bigger priority in combat arms?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2qAWTMJEnQ
>>30458910
because great ear pro is expensive and everyone loses their cheaper shit
>>30458943
If they would issue it the same way all the other expensive gear is, (with a receipt and serial number) they could just make the user pay for it when it comes time.
>>30458943
Hearing aids and the impact of being deaf as fuck for the rest of your life are more expensive.
Fucking priorities.
Have a K98k (at least I think) it has German inspection code WaA623. What are the pro and cons of the gun?
Pros: It's historical, and still a good gun. Ammo is available in bulk (8mm Mauser)
Cons: it'll piss off SJWs and certain types of old man
>>30458898
please, for the love of god, dont paint it blue and slap a MLP sticker on it
>>30458989
I take it such a thing has happened before?
>things you thought about guns/ gun culture
>then how they changed when you started owning and shooting guns
>thought guns were for fudds and old men
>fired a cheap ass mossberg
>realised it made stuff die
>got hard at the thought.
>>30458886
thought gun store owners were mostly nice calm people.
years later I've realized they are all bitter angry dicks
>didn't know how people could have fun shooting
Acquired gats
>realize it's fun to shoot
Got a Ruger 44 Carbine today. Serial puts it as a 1981 manufacture, pretty good condition. Put 10 through it and it's nice and smooth. Gunbroker puts people's asks at $600-700 for a similar one, did I do good or is that just GB inflating prices like always?
>>30458871
Needs to be reblued
>>30458880
Receiver too, chips below it are the only damage to the stock
>>30458889
Good, sharp rifling. No pitting that I could see.
