What are you gonna do? Send them an apology?
>>23320180
The prime minister will undoubtedly address the nation tonight to apologize to the gunman on behalf of all the intolerant Canadians that drove him to commit his actions. After all, its not the gunmans fault.
Remember this?

We have a bit of a terrorist problem right now:
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/who-is-martin-couture-rouleau-1.2807285
They are targeting soldiers at the moment, but I suppose civilians are next. Wish I could carry my guns.
"I saw one motionless body outside the library of parliament. It appeared police had been aiming that decision with many gunshots."

Are there soldiers at Parliament?
Previous thread: >>23318478
There has been a major incident in Ottawa, Ontario today. Two soldiers were shot at the National War Memorial. Following that, a shooter entered Parliament, and there are reports of further shooting at the Rideau Center. Cellular jammers have been deployed.
Everything is confused at the moment, so it's difficult to say much beyond that definitely.

I prefer war thunder, I know some of you guys play world of tanks but I was wondering what your opinion of war thunder is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzgPXOw2plI
I play it all the time when I want to play something casual. I want to get a joystick and try controlling that way, I think it'll be fun.
>>23301388
Ayy lmao I spent 50 euros on war thunder last week

Why isn't there more media coverage of people hunting and killing IS faggots?

I knew a former ranger who liked coke and booze and was as crazy as the day is long.
Can we all agree that military starships will likely look like the Halo ships -- space ships built around massive cannons with extreme range and firepower?
>>23308370
>Can we all agree
You know good and goddamn well that we can't agree about anything here.
>>23308370
>/k/ agreeing on anything
I think we can only agree that weapons are fucking cool.
Probably. Keep in mind they used these ships for orbital bombardment as well. The missile is practically obsolete since they can easily be shot down. You can't shoot down a a 30' 600 ton depleted uranium slug fired at 12,000 kilometers per second.

Someone explain "g"s to me in terms of turn rates.
>>23286518
"G"'s refer to gravitational pull. while standing you excert one G, or one Gravity. while in a plane turning 45ยบ at 400mph you excert close to 3 g's. its the force of the inerta of your body going one way pushing you into the seat, which its inerta is going another way, thus "simulating" a gravitational pull to the seat. This is the best way i can explain iy OP. now stop being a faggot and feel it for yourself.
>>23287654
While correct, that's a bit of an incomplete answer.
In order for an aircraft to turn, you need to bank it and place the lift vector outside of purely vertical. Once that happens, if you want it to turn faster and have a smaller turn radius (assuming constant airspeed and altitude), you need to pull back on the stick. This causes centrifugal force (inb4 it's a pseudoforce, I know but let's just go with it) to press you down in your seat, increasing the number of Gs you feel.
So the...

Also pulling Gs sucks. I can feel the blood pooling on the bottom of my forearms.
I made this thread a few weeks back on /out/, and I was curious what the response would be on /k/.
I live in a rural area and go into the the mountains alone fairly often (I'm heading out not as a matter of fact), and I usually go alone. I've spent most of this year hiking around the woods here and I've run into moose, bear and elk. I was wondering what would be the best method to protect myself in a confrontation? If I were to get a gun what would be the best choice? Is bear spray enough? Does it also work on moose and elk, that I run into much more frequently?...

I remember that thread. I suspect you should have brought it here in the first place.
Here's my take on the situation. Carry an air horn instead of spray, and also carry a gun. The horn because it has longer range than spray, and it might serve to scare the animal away. If something is within spray range, you need to have your gun ready because you won't have time to transition if things go south. You're also tactically withdrawing, not standing there and taking selfies with (insert animal...

Bring PTR/FAL/M14 hiking for no worry about animals ever!
>>23282079
I was thinking something more along the lines of a bolt gun. Though I suppose I have no room to bitch if you pack an M-60. Anything in a full size rifle caliber will do. Just don't miss
