So, I just did a bit of math, and found this out.
It costs around $40,000 on average to send a kid through 4 years of college. That's a good chunk of change, and basically unachievable if you're from a poor family. Even if you're decently well off, you'll be paying student loan debt off for years. Really, the only people who can get through college unscathed are rich kids.
An F-35 fighter jet costs $125,000,000 per unit. The government plans to buy 1,700 of them.
For the cost of a single F-35 fighter you could give more than 3,000 kids a full ride...

There's a reason Eisenhower warned everyone.
PROTIP: Fighter jets are a better investment than poor people.
OP here, I just realized how hard that is to read. I apologize for the formatting.

This can't be on accident
If we used all the combined bullets and bombs on the planet to shoot at one particular spot could we reach the center of the Earth?
How close would we get?
Has it been done before?

Whatever you're smoking OP, I want some.

Irony on ice.
are most soldiers edgy
>>23353711
I don't think they're edgy. I just think a lot of them are dumb shit rednecks.
Not because joining the military makes you a dumb shit redneck... but rather because they recruit a lot of dumb shit rednecks.
And try as they might, it's hard to train the dumb shit redneck out of every single one.
As they say, you can take the kid out of the trailer park, but you can't take the dumb shit redneck out of trailer park... but the hundreds of thousands of dollars in training...

>edgy
>home boy is actually posing with a corpse
At some point you cross the line between teenage Hot Topic rewards member to psychotic asshole, and this is it. Also, despite how it may seem, the military goes to great lengths to rid themselves of "edgy" kids who want to kill people. Why?
Because it's a fucking nightmare having them in service and a Pvt. Pyle situation just waiting to happen. Tell people in the military you want to...

A lot of soldiers are in the military because it's the only job they can get. You'll see a lot of disgraceful redneck/ghetto trash. Many serve because they have the sense to do that instead of running with a gang.
The warhammer wiki claims the bolter has tremendous recoil that would rip a normal human's arm out of his socket. But that doesn't make sense. It's a gyrojet weapon that uses a small bit of conventional powder to push the bolt out of the barrel before the rockets kick in. There's no way that small ammount of conventional powder would make it literally kick like a mule.
Plenty of ordinary humans use Bolters in the WH40k universe, the problem is fan wank and authors contradicting each other.
Bolters use a two-stage propellant that basically shoots it out with a normal powder load before some rockets activate to speed it up faster.

i thought they had a smaller bolter for normal humans?

Pick a basket (<$100) come up with a message (that's not gonna get us put on a watch list). Once we've agreed on what we're gonna send and say I'll take care of the rest and post proof.
