i live in UK and am going hunting rabbits (inb4 muh britcuck cant own knives and guns, knives need no licence, I legally own 2 shotguns and I don't need a licence for .22)
I've never worn camo since i couldn't be bothered. What camo shall i wear for temperate forest enviroment??? this will be in deep forest and meadows
DPM, Flekctarn, Multicam, MTP
You could roll out your front door wearing fucking bright red and the results would likely be the same.

How much do do the big players (USA, Russia, China) know of each other?
Intelligence communities general
>>27543577
My guess is all have gained access to everything y now and it's just about how they sort it out
Lots
>>27543577
They have access to loads of information, though especially US due to cooperation with other countries (chiefly Sweden and Britain on russia and Japan/Australia i suppose on China. Not to mention satellites.
Hi /k/.
I'm interested in shooting beyond 1000yd. I think it would be cool as shit to regularly shoot beyond a mile.
I want to avoid meme-caliber guns (6.5, 6.7) and I can't afford to shoot 500 rounds of.338 Lapua or .416 Barrett every month.
I want a solid, dependable, non-fudd rifle in .300 Win Mag or .50 BMG for less than $8000.
What optic should I use? I have a hard time understanding the Nightforce and Leupold websites, although I am interested in the Vortex Razor 2 from what I've heard.
Also, extreme-long range thread go.
>>27542843
>wants to shoot "long range"
>doesn't want a 6.5mm "meme caliber"
>would instead like 300wm (for 1 mile shots) or .50BMG
At least you mentioned Razor HD Gen 2
This is a troll thread, so here is your reply I guess.
>>27542843
Have you looked for .408 Cheytac?
>>27542867
>not trolling
I honestly don't know why the Snipershide and leddit long range guys love creedmoor so fucking much.
>.300 WM and .50 BMG because not reloading and the cost per round is less than 6.5, .338, .416 and .408
What do you guys think of rothco military items? I know a lot of them are made in china, but I was wondering if they were worth it. Specifically, their knives and M-65 jackets
Do you own any rothco items?
Rothco raped my childhood. There as nothing I loved more then going in a surplus store and smelling that mildly mildewed old USGI canvas smell. Rothco churns out Chicom junk at a fraction of the price of USGI suplus items so what do you think the Surplus stores mostly sell? No I would never but that commie filth. But the real thing.
>>27542805
Cheap junk. You can buy an authentic M65 at your local Goodwill for $20. Quality well be better too.
>>27542805
I used to work a uniform shop. Mostly it was school sports teams or doctors offices, but we also serviced our local prison. The guards there had wanted 5.11 everything but didn't have enough people to get on the price level they wanted, so my boss talked them into trying Rothco. They we so dissatisfied with the quality of the BDUs and boots that we lost the contract.
I ended up with several sets of BDUs and two pairs of boots that I got for free because we couldn't sell them. The BDUs seemed fine...

/k/ I need some advice.
I have the choice of a mosin nagant or SMLE No1 Mk3 as my first rifle and was wondering what to pick up based on your recommendations.
Both are in good condition but the enfield does not have a matching bolt.
Mosin
Costs on each, please?
I would expect the nugget to be about half the cost at least, so if money is a concern you'd best get it to avoid any trouble with buying ammo for it.
Long term, however, is a more dicey matter. Nugget prices are slowly rising, a bit faster than enfields in my opinion. We keep getting told the era of cheap mosins is nearing an end, so it might be best to get on the bus now.
A non-matching enfield isn't particularly collectible, so unless you have a great desire to simply own one I would say hold off for a better example.
>>27542452
>First rifle
Neither. Get a Savage or Ruger American.
Why exactly is eye protection needed when shooting? I can understand the use of ear protection because it's fairly obvious why it's needed, but what exactly endangers your eyes?
>>27541549
Seeing is kind of useful, that's why window licker.
>>27541549
dirt and debris as well as ricochets, or as i like to call them, "rock-oh-shit(s)".
one day i was shooting my px4 in 9mm at the range without eyepro
of course a casing would fly out the chamber, directly into my eyeball. cutting and burning it at the same damn time.
wear fucking eyepro queer
Does anyone know anything about these? The Leupold LCO
>>27539756
>why so expensive?
Name
>>27539783
Its in the post and title
There is literally no reason to get one for the price when quality companies like Aimpoint or Trijicon make similarly sized red dots for less.
>>27539817
That was the answer, idiot.
>Went shooting with my dad, uncle, and cousin
>uncle likes to be a shit head and fuck with everyone

>me and my cousin are talking about his new m&p shield
>uncle sneaks up behind us and and fires the 30-30 a few inches over our heads

>just EEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>uncle and dad are losing their shit
>me and my cousin didn't understand what happened for a second

what do
>>27539677
Shoot the fucker.
Jokes on you, I've had moderate hereditary tinnitus since birth!
It was a real trip finding out that other people didn't have a constant, high-pitched ringing in their ears at all times around the age of 8.
You never really get used to it.
Enjoy! :D :D

>I just permanently damaged my son and nephew's hearing!
what a stupid motherfucker.
What advantages would a tank have over a drone which could hover in place and has pin-point accuracy with a controllable blast radius?
As in a theoretical drone that's practically an attack helicopter without the worry of too much collateral damage.
As far as I can tell it would be able to do everything a tank with added mobility
>>27539522
The tank isn't firing a $110,000 shell.
>>27539522
Can't jam a tank. Until a decent AI is developed, unmanned weapons will be limited in use.
>>27539614
I was thinking of a theoretical drone that would have great AI, but as >>27539536 cost efficiency wins out.
What should one expect to pay for an unmolested shooter-grade c96? Determined to get one for my next firearm purchase, but all I see in auctions are collector grade and prototype versions for like 1.2-5k and ones that have been rebored with retarded chamberings like 38 auto. Is 6-800 too much/little to expect to pay for your run-of-the-mill c96?
Also, c96 General. Show off your broomhandles!
>What should one expect to pay for an unmolested shooter-grade c96?
Depends on what kind of C-96 it is.
>but all I see in auctions are collector grade and prototype versions for like 1.2-5k
They show up in waves. Keep looking, be patient.
>>27539036
What should I look for in the 6-800 dollar range?
I got my red 9 at a gunshow for $600 cash. The sights were missing and it had a lot of pit/cosmetic damage(this gun was in Nevada covered in blood) but shoots great. (Inside the bore was clean and never shot.
I can only find one place that sells it, but I'd rather have options. Anyone know of a manufacturer/place to buy?
Get a Lee Classic Loader in .45 Colt and buy or make some black powder... and just roll your own.
A Lee Loader would cost as much as a box of the ammunition you want anyways, because actual black powder ammo is relatively rare compared to smokeless cartridges.
>>27539117
And besides, if you actually do load your own, 45LC is an extremely cheap cartridge to make. Just use either lrn or swc cast bullets (in your choice of weight), your favorite black powder, and some once fired brass. Hell, brass lasts forever on straight-walls anyway, so you might get 10 uses on a single piece depending on your pressures.
Be sure to clean up those cases afterwards, black powder can get really nasty if you let them sit for too long.

I'm in a small shit hole of a town in ohio that has been slowly dying of a meth and heroin problem for the past several years. Lately the lone dealers have been slowly replaced by several packs of gorillas capable of speaking with a very finite vernacular for the purpose of pushing drugs and intimidating ones that were differing colors. It has gotten so bad that it's essentially all out turf wars right now and I hear gunshots each and every night outside my window. The apes have had a long time feud with my mom because she is a 15 year veteran of the navy with the...

I know Ohio is like a non SYG law area in while being surrounded by ones that are so thats what worries me is if im just going to be bumplugged if I act out of defense. I am not an irrational person and would never pull my gun unless absolutely necessary.

How fucking dumb do you have to be? From a strategic standpoint; if they invade a western backed country wearing western gear and slinging western weapons; for maybe two hours those generals will be scratching their heads wondering who the fuck is attacking them. It'll take until second line fighters in Gorkas show up for them to realize that those dudes wearing ops-core bump helmets and slinging 5.45...
