What do you think?

Hey guys, I think the Tu-4 might be influenced by the B-29!

>tfw Swedes will no longer report Russian vessels in our archipelago due to them looking the same as our own
The perfect camo
Not enough gun or explosives.
What 45 is good for home defense?
>>27906943
are you talking about ammo or a gun? Any .45 that can accept a weaponlight should be OK for home defense use, extra points if you suppress it.
For ammo, I prefer Federal HST 230gr, really good, reliable expansion and penetration.
>>27906961
What is a relatively decently priced, reliable choice in a handgun chambered in 45?
>>27906961
Federal hst BONDED hollow points and a +p round never hurts.
I sense the .460 rowland is coursing through your veins anon.
What are the smallest true blue-water, active-duty combat ships capable of navigating the open seas without hand-holding by other vessels? I mean actual military ships; not ceremonial sailing rigs or something really antiquated. Pic is Sweden's HSwMS Sundsvall K24 Göteborg-class corvette (commissioned 1989), which is only 425 tonnes fully-loaded. It is 57 X 8 meters with a 2-meter draft.
DDs
And I'm talking about true ones not those glorified corvettes they build today.
>>27906899
I think it's one of the Scandanavian tiny ships since they really love making things like your pic. The Chinese have some decent number of the sort too, though they do exist a few other places.
>>27907136
I think the Coast Guard use them too
ISIS is specifically targeting the most heavily populated majority white territories across the US. After Paris, I don't think this is something we should take lightly. My city (Phoenix) is on the list, what do? I was already planning on carrying something with higher capacity. Should I OC a rifle or something from now on?.
http://www.snopes.com/2015/11/16/isis-kill-list/
If this post ends in dubs no mosque shall stand by sunrise.
Woooo Phoenix. North West reporting in. How shall I identify you as opposed to the kebabs also caring rifles?
>California: Manford, Solvang, San Ardo, Monterrey, Newberry Park, Carlsbad
>no San Francisco or Los Angeles
What the fuck ISIS? When you finally get a chance to do something right, you still fuck it up.
>>27906936
>The ISIS "kill list" circulated in November 2015 was therefore not a compendium of U.S. cities which ISIS had recently announced they planned to attack, but rather a several-month-old compilation of all the town and cities in which the U.S. servicemen identified in a March 2015 ISIS report lived.

I've never had a bad run in with the state troopers. Local PDs are a different story.
>California
good:
guns aren't banned completely yet
bad:
everything else
that was fast
>>27906994
Where at in Alaska?
http://strawpoll.me/6028083
Only got 300 so cant buy all 3
What's the quality like on these repros?
Didn't know they were this cheap.
>>27906793
I guess they are all great if you dont get a brass one. No FFL and ship for free so i figure i should geddit
1911fags, is this snakeoil?
>>27906719
Yes. The gun has worked fine for 100 years without it.
>>27906719
I have a very early Para-Ordnance P14-45 that would always fail to pick up the last round that happened to have one of those buffers installed when I bought it. I removed the buffer and not a single hiccup of any kind since. Might be of benefit to some but my personal experience was negative.
Yeah, pretty much. Bill probably made a fortune on them, but I doubt it saved many frames from "battering". You can't slingshot a commander with one in. I've seen them come apart- the black ones seemed worse.
/new/ fag here. I need advice...should I buy for $700 or just build one?
PS: comes with 100 rounds of WOLF Steel 7,62
In exchange for your testimony Ill be mailing you all chocolate chip cookies
Also selling for around $500 stock..it's a close call
>>27906560
Doesn't seem like a bad deal to me. I'd SBR it though.
>>27906718
Thought about it, really dont want to deal with hassle tho
Would you pay $700 for it?
Why do people who like guns like cargo short as well?
>>27906480
Who cares.
Because when I shoot I like to wear them to hold shit. I may not where them around campus but god damn that weekend at home they'll be loaded up with loose rounds and mags.
also >>>/fa/ggot detected
>>27906480
comfy and lots of pockets.
Did I fuck up, /k/? This will be my first Glock.
Also general surplus/trade-in/used gun thread, post 'em if you got 'em.
>>27906451
So can gen2 glocks take gen3/4 parts at all?
>>27906451
No. Now put an XC1 on it.
No rail, but really you ought to like it quite a lot.
I was reading a bit and I came across the Trayvon Martin autopsy report again and I was wondering, has anyone ever bothered to compare how far various bullets penetrate into ballistics gel to how far they manage to penetrate in the autopsy reports? Unfortunately George Zimmerman was using some S&B 115 grain hollow points that have no actual ballistics gel testing for them available on the internet (outside of some moron on youtube shooting them into a barrel of water and another guy shooting some into phonebooks), but according to the autopsy they would have only penetrated...

Ballistics gel is not 1:1 to human flesh, and does not account for bone.
>>27906442
I was under the impression ballistic gel was an 'average human density' analog
>>27906430
Its probably 3-2:1 gel:flesh
>>27906462
Flesh is complicated, and most people are not naked and most gel is not at optimal testing temp.
So I hear Isis has some troops on US soil. I carry off and on depending on my mood, do you think I should carry 100% of the time now? I'd hate to have some French shit go down and only be able to hide.
>when I say I carry off and on, I mean I don't always carry a gun to Walmart cause it's honestly not that dangerous.
Louisiana here, no permit.
>>27906266
I dunno man
those two nutjobs in Vegas shot a couple guys at Walmart, didn't they?
>>27906266
>Louisiana here
i'd be more worried about gators than IS
>>27906266
I live in Lynnwood WA so I'd definitely carry if I was:
1. In the Seattle shopping district.
2. At the State convention center.
I usually carry every day anyway but sometimes I leave my gun locked up in the car in case I want to pop into de pub for a drink.
>that day you find out that both your grandmothers got themselves knocked up by Wehrmacht troops in '42 but everyone else in your unit is pureblooded French
>>27906181
wat
Took me a second, OP. Good one.
>>27906181
It's a shitty as fuck corner to try holding but jesus christ you guys are already an hour late for the fight and cowering in fear when shot at?
Hey guys, Canadian here. I've been looking into taking gun safety courses ASAP. Any other Canadians (or anyone who knows what we have available here) want to recommend a good first gun for me to buy? After all the recent stuff in the news my primary concern is home protection but I do enjoy target practice and whatnot. Gone out with a couple friends before. Any input would be appreciated
>>27906119
SKS, take the restricted course you'll want your RPAL later trust me.
>>27906143
Thank you, I've shot my friends SKS a couple times and really enjoyed it. And yeah I plan on getting certified in pretty much everything possible as soon as possible
The SKS is a meme.
CC a D.Eagle don't be a fag.
I have noticed that not many news outlets are publishing any information on the models and types of weapons used in that attack.
In my head I'm thinking body armor, ski masks, some kind of chest rig (maybe a plate who knows) and maybe a duffel bag of ammunition. They might even be wearing bomb vests if they know its a suicide attack. Are they trained? Maybe, but crudely, I don't know that these guys attended any kind of formal indoctrination training in terrorism.
AK type rifle, definitely.
Some kind of pistol with a punch and good extended magazines,...

>They might even be wearing bomb vests if they know its a suicide attack
you do realize most of them blew themselves up, right?
>>27906032
Why didn't one? That is an important question, do you think he was better armed, maybe something heavier like an RPK with some drum mags?
>>27906046
they blew themselves up probably because they didn't want to be captured or so they could take out others even once incapacitated
