Infantryfags.
If you could offer some ideas for a robotic battle buddy, what specific abilities would you want that battle buddy to have to improve your squad's performance.
Does it necessarily have to be human shaped? Would you rather a pack mule, or a dog-shaped assistant? A mobile machine gun platform? A heavily armored pointman?
No sexbots.
Make it faster than a person. Much faster than a person. Cheetah speed or higher. Give it an M27, and the ability to leap onto a two-story roof from a standing position.
You would have the greatest non-aerial suppression asset on the battlefield.

A quiet electrically-powered Big Dog the newest is named Spot] running on aluminum or lithium-air batteries. Cover it in tack-welded AR500 for bullet resistance, and mount a small manipulator arm for EOD/opening doors, plus a designator laser for pointing out things and designating for smart 40mms. Tack half a dozen smart-40mms or a light RWS of some kind on top.

>AR500
How fast is it without armor?
How aren't mini nukes a real thing yet? They shouldn't be too difficult to make considering they can already make big ones and the possibilities are endless
Carrying around a miniature nuclear warhead would make you a preferred target out of anyone else.
The Fatman is literally based off a real weapon.
A real weapon that was scrapped because a man-portable nuclear armament isn't a good idea in real life
>>27949263
You can't really make a nuclear explosion that small.
It just doesn't work.
I was just thinking, for example you have a gun, that was made so it shoots off ammunition with a bar pressure of 1000. What happened if you would try to shoot an overpressured bullet with about 3000 bar pressure through it.To my understanding, the gun would explode.
>>27949074
Not sure on the pressure levels to KB, but modern firearms are designed to blowout down through the mag well or to the right of the shooter. This is to reduce the risk to the shooter. Much akin to crumple zones on cars.
>>27949074
just use a p08 luger. they can shoot anything.
>>27949106
>or to the right of the shooter.
Oh no. I'm left handed. Does this mean my head is going to get blown off?
Hello /k/ this is my mosin. Does it look like there is anything wrong with it? Im worried and dont know what red flags to look for.
If I genuinely need to depend on it for something, beretta
If it's for fun, sub2k with glock mags.
No on the hi point
>>27948978
Used marlin camp carbine or Sub 2k(assuming 9mm glock mags)
Hi Point too poor
Cx4 too expensive (for its class)
Sub 2000 just right
Buy the hi point, and then buy that stock that makes it look like a CX4.
Had all the pistols out today for the first time in a while. Checked them out and cleaned em up. Need to get to my range on Monday to do some shooting.
Was a good afternoon
>>27948909
Damn picture posted upside down
Oooh. All of those pretty German guns.
>>27949264
Oh very nice
So who here collects antiques too
I'd have a few if retards on gunbroker would stop bidding in giant chunks on no-reserve penny auctions.
>>27948816
me
also, you need to try to find a rusted vetterli with a solid stock and fix that abomination
>>27948816
is that tub a magical wishing well? Ive seen about 3 different arsenals sitting next to it in the past few weeks.
>She Loves .22LR and is damn accurate with them
>Can't find any ammo
>Be me - Owns more .22lr guns than rounds (not really but we're scarce)
What do? She doesn't like recoil. Get a nice semi auto .177 air rifle?
>>27948599
Tell her to stop being a pussy.
Ar15 has little recoil. If she can't handle .223 out of an AR, then a slingshot or something I guess
>>27948625
This or .17hmr
Quick unboxing
If this is bullshit I can buy on amazon I'm going to punch you in the taint.
>>27948611
What is it????!?!?!?
USA just let over 5 000 ISIS fighters into new York and Virginia. 3000 of them are put in the CIA and US air-force base for training. 2000 are now getting homes around USA under cover of witness program.
>>27948576
What a great thread filled with sources and proper information.
>Source:my ass
>>27948576
and all of them came out of your ass AMAZING!
Taking my M91/30 to the range for the first time tomorrow. I need some targets to shoot at to see if Ivan's 75 year old zero is still good and too see if it is me or the rifle that sucks.
Also dump any other printable or other targets for any gun.
>>27948569
Dude you're better off just learning where to aim than banging on your front sight post. I know if I hold just left my target I hit it every time. I can print a solid 4 inch group at 200 yards from the bench. it's a 1942 izzy and the elevation adjustment works very well
>>27949187
that group was also with the heavy 200 grain surplus ammo
>>27948569
Get a bench, bag it down, fire 5 rounds at 25yards at 5 different targets to get a good idea of how. Congrats, 250 m battle field zero.
What are some good movies about the Russian front in winter, /k/?
Stalingrad, '93 version.
Brest Fortress (Fortress of War)
The Ascent.
It isn't a full on army battle movie, it is about two russian partisans on a recon mission, and it just generally shows how much it sucked.
Knife
>>27948482
Wrench
Anybody have Spyderco kitchen knives?
Might get a couple
Post silly guns
>>27948471
Whats silly about that its the accuracy and reliability of a double barrel with the attachment options of a m4, with a plastic stock to reduce recoil
>>27948471
>silly
Coach drivers woulda killed for that tactical masterpiece back in the day.
>>27948471
Why don't you own a K11/K31 yet /k/?
>>27948247
I would prefer to to waste my money on relics of a bygone age
>>27948261
Yet a K31 will outperform most modern rifles out there in the price range of around 2k.
>>27948268
Uh, yeah, no it wont.
