'Sup, /k/. Got a question regarding Mosin-Nagants, and I figured this board would field some pertinent (if also eclectic) information relevant to my needs.
I currently have a Finnish M24 "Lotta Rifle". It's seen better days. When I acquired it, it was already missing it's cleaning rod, and whatever sling it may have come with was no more than a myth at that point. Neither of these are serious problems, though, when compared to the big 'un: the claw on the extractor is straight up sheared-the-fuck off. I don't know exactly how it happened,...

The case head diameter and rim thickness is the same between 7.62x53mm and 7.62x54mm. The only significant difference between the two cartridges is projectile diameter; the Finns used .309" (later .310") projectiles, while the Russians have always used .312". An extractor from any other Mosin will be an acceptable substitute.
Lucky Lotta-rifle-having-bastard you.

Well, shit. That was quick. Thank you, anon.
Hopefully the extra three thousandths of an inch won't burn the barrel out too much more quickly.

In places with a 10 round maximum mag are belt fed weapons a grey area?
Well fuck, now I'm interested.
Colorado 15 rounder reporting in.
No.
A belt is considered a magazine by the law. More than 10 rounds is verboten. The only exception to (new) 10 round magazine sizes I know of are for tube, fixed .22LR magazines.

Just got a Colt SP1. Pre-forward assist. Love it. These always fascinate me. Show me your recent acquisitions /k/
Ar-15 with the attachments.
Rated a 8 on the Newtown-Fienstien scariness scale. New as of today.
Forgot to take a picture before I left for work, but I just scored an Armalite M15 with an Aimpoint Comp M3 and 2 PMAGs for 580.
1952 Polish M44. Paid 250 out the door.
Let's get a good knife thread going. I'm a Buck guy I just bought these 4 today. A 2 dot 112, a one dot 500 with the duck engravings, serial #502/2000. A 119 with bone handle and a 317 pocket knife. The leatherman is part of my edc figured I'd put it in the picture too.
closer look at the 500 series

No pics but I just got my first 110, current production
The 119 is my favorite knife, they look nice in bone
I really like the detail on the handle. It's more than lightly used but this blade has a lot of cutting left to it.
My dad won a Browning X-Bolt in a Snap-on drawing and he picked it up today. Has /k/ ever won any guns?
I hope your dad isn't that fat chubby balding manlet on the left

You hoped wrong
I won a flashlight at the grand opening of LAPG in Valencia. Pretty sure Mexicans won each of the two guns that day. Some little chubby kid asked if he could have my flashlight after I won it. I laughed at him and said no.

Buy a shovel, spend the rest of the money on canned non-perishables. Bury the food in the backyard (with the shovel).
Survival assured.

>not knowing how MANPADs work
Why the fuck are these things so overpriced, /k/?
Because it's a proprietary weapon that rides off of nostalgia and fuddlore exaltation.
>>27949705
You literally just posted this thread you fucking faggot go away
M1A doesn't interest me, especially for its price. But crying about "overpriced" makes you sound like a salty poorfag, and you probably are. By what metric is an M1A "overpriced"? Next closest available M14 action available in the US is twice the price. You can't get M305's, and they aren't exactly god tier quality so who cares.
>>27949705
To me, the SCAR or the AUG would take the cake. Many would agree that the AUG is better though
What's the weapon of the modern-day crusader?

Tolerance and progressivism.
AK-74M
Explain to me why anyone would have anything other than this for home defence?
>>27949563
Because I don't need a reason, so you can go kill yourself you fucking faggot. Go back to Reddit
>>27949563
onerous licensing of handguns, being too young to buy pistol rounds, having a home with rifle range length hallways.
>>27949563
Because 5.56 kills faster than 9mm. Handguns are fucking stupid for home defense.
I have recently acquired a Remington 700 in .308, looking to buy a scope. Preferably not low tier stuff, looking at Nightforce and Leupold possibly, what kind of scopes do you guys like? Also, want something with mil dot reticule or MOAR like pic related.
What kind? I want to get a nice bolt action 308 too.
