What if every fighter had a drone for a wingman?
Outside of it being able to pull of manuevers no human driven fighter could (sub 100m radius U-turns at Mach 3+) would it add any capabilities? What if it had kamikaze features?
What good would it do if a modern fighter had launchable long-range drones that could participate in combat as well as had their own warhead for an end-game instead of AAAM missiles?
why not just a big cargo plane that deploys a bunch of drones which are controlled by an AWACS
>>27956887
Something like a Protoss carrier ?
The drones would be too tiny to be usefull in any way.
>>27956887
Cargo plane should not go into contested airspace.
>>27956848
Yes, the idea of a fighter controlling multiple drones is a real concept that is being worked on.
However, the ability of drones to withstand higher g-forces is overhyped, because airframes and mechanical components also have limitations.
Drones would be very useful for detecting and suppressing air defenses without putting the pilot in harms way, and for acting as missile launch platforms.
Hows /K/s experience with this stuff? Seems pretty affordable and its not even steel.
>>27956764
It's good stuff.
>>27956764
Wolf Gold I believe is PMC, or a Filipino manufacturer, or a mixture of both made for Wolf.
Great brass ammo for cheap
Also Wolf Match Grade .22 is excellent, made by SK Rimfire in Germany. For 6.79 it competes with Federal Matchgrade for lol12.99 and Ultramatch for lmao 21.99. It's actually match grade ammo and performs as such. Only complaint is it smells sour when shooting. I enjoy the smell of Automatch though
>>27956764
Gets my seal of approval. Cheap, reliable range ammo.
What's the appeal of Glocks?
I think they're ugly, cheap and unsafe.
What's the appeal of the OP?
I think he's ugly, cheap and a kek.

I like the looks of the 26 and the 34, but the other models are just meh,
Does China seriously think that they have the ability to take on any western nation, let alone the US?
>>27956728
They already can. The US is crippled militarily and other western nations are useless. Once China finishes completion of new carriers US will be forced to cede Pacific Ocean to China.

too obvious
Is it viable with small critters like squirrel and rabbit? What's better ammo a pellet or a BB?
Anyone got experience with bleeding, gutting and cleaning small creatures?
Pellets are fine for small game. If you are worried about it, you can get a .22 pellet rifle. Pellets > bbs for hunting. I like these plastic tipped ones personally.
Dressing small game is really simple. For squirrels in particular, it's a single slice down the belly (just cut skin deep) and you can pull the guts out. You probably aren't into trapping yet but those guts are good for baiting predator traps. If you cut off the feet, make slices down the legs to the center of the pelt, put a slice down the center of the tail and cut a circle around the top of...

>Is it viable with small critters like squirrel and rabbit?
I feel like rabbits are starting to getout of 177 pellet's league, not that it won't kill them.
>What's better ammo a pellet or a BB?
Pellets, by far. BBs are for kids and co2 semi auto guns.

I think they've been the nastiest...

Why do people recommend those Gamo PBA pellets, those things are dogshit.
But yeah, a decent .177 caliber pellet gun is perfectly adequate for squirrels and rabbits, just make sure you can reliably pull headshots because it won't always kill with a center-mass shot.
It has two engines.
Better performance than the F-18.
All they had to do was put the hook.
>>27956505
It needed vertically folding wings
Why can't we do it now? Just duct tape some tail hooks to the plane
Ill bite. I believe it's not that simple. Naval aircraft are better designer from the ground up. You can't just add a hook, you need an air frame designed to take the stress of landing impact, and a plane that handles being around seawater well.
I checked the sticky, but there's nothing on shotguns.
For home defense/shtf, would I be fine with a Mossberg 500, Remington 870 or similarly cheap/mass market 12 gauge pump-action shotgun?
What does /k/ generally recommend?
KS-23 has the widest variety of HD rounds available.
>>27956418
I think the barrel's too short to be legal in Canada
>>27956390
I recommend an AR or other rifle, they'll get the job done just as good. Shotguns are obsolete and frankly meme weapons.
Was Gallipoli a doomed operation from the start?
In Churchill's memoirs, he claims that he never intended taking the Dardanelles with ground troops. HIS plan was to hit the coast with a naval barrage to secure it, using the ships that the Royal Navy would have scrapped by the end of the war anyway since Dreadnaughts and new tech came to the fore in 1906. The point of a naval operation would have been to use ships that were disposable, and allow them to get some sort of gain before they were doomed for the scrap heap anyway.
Churchill in part blames the Admirals...

Why do the Brits always put the blame on someone else? Its never their fault
>>27956340
Well churchy blamed the British admirals so there's that.

>be island nation
>waste ships (and thousands of lives) because they are 'outdated'

churchill was a hack
Find a flaw.

There is a cannon instead of a driver.
Where the fuck would you even store the ammo in that thing?
>>27956182
Everywhere.
So /k/, why don't you own a spear?
>>27956140
I mean seriously, they're 10/10 for home defense as long as you have an open floor plan. I'd trust one with my life over anything in
>9mm
>>27956140
>why don't you own a spear?
Because I own guns.
>>27956152
>I'd trust one with my life over anything in 9mm
Both literal and figurative spearchuckers would prefer a wonder9.
>>27956166
>Because I own guns.
So do I. I also own a spear (albeit this is more for fun, I'll be buying a boar spear with the stopper bar things on the head for actual spear hunting which I plan to do next summer).
>Both literal and figurative spearchuckers would prefer a wonder9.
>2015
>not culturally enriching yourself with fine ass spear chucking women
They can suck a dick like a god damn tornado son
Could EMALS save the royal navy?
>>27956082
Could a navalized variant of the Eurofighter Typhoon save the Royal Navy from the F-35B ?
>>27956221
Was examined but was ruled to be a silly option.
E2D Advanced Hawkeyes could save the Royal Navy
What knife is this? who makes it and is it any good?
Who the fuck takes a picture of their dirty fucking litter box like that?
It's a 10$ knife from wall Mart. You do not want this knife
Is there a good left-handed-friendly rifle except for the AK?

All of them...?

Plenty, and the AK would suck as a lefty.

Lefty eyed shooter.
