Who takes their precision rifles hunting?
Next year. I'm the gen 2 razer on the savage m10 guy.
Moved provinces and didn't have time to get licensing figured out.

/raises hand
If I own an MOA factory fudd-looking rifle, does that make it 'precision'? Or does it have to have the bull barrel and bipod and what have you?
>>28016575
For a TRUE precision rifle, I'd stick with at least a bull barrel; but you can get great groups with thinner sporter contour barrels--they just heat up and open up their groups a lot faster at the range.
I was recently gifted one of these adorable little bastards. What does /k/ think of them?
>>28016406
The grips will move a bit while gripping it. Is this normal? I figure so-it's only one small screw holding them.
But what is the niche of these? A backup to your CCW?
>>28016406
To be honest I don't see the point
yeah they're cheaper than a colt 1908 vest pocket
I like mine it's a nifty little gun. Inaccurate as fuck but who needs accuracy when you're less then 3ft away?
I'm sure it'll be fine. I hear those dirty Russians don't even know how to fight.
>>28016295
did we bring enough parkas?
oh fuck it, it will be quick.
>>28016295
Hitler and Nazi Germany was in a serious predicament in 1940/1941: although a non-aggression pact had been signed with the Soviets, both sides knew the other wasn't going to honor it. Germany and Russia are preparing for war, but Russia has a much larger industrial base than Germany. So for every year that Germany waits to build forces, the Russians build even more forces. Germany becomes proportionately weaker than Russia the longer she waits.
>>28016295
Ja, I am so happy that the Colonel said we don't have to bring the winter gear. Stalingrad is wonderful this time of year.
Why is there no PSM clones and 5.45x18 ammo on the American market?>
Because it's a tiny cartridge that doesn't even deliver 100 ft/lb. .32 ACP is significantly better for a pocket gun
>>28016226
Pretty sure 5.45x18mm would be illegal to manufacture in the U.S.
>>28016322
Why is that?
I did an exercise today in radio traffic time logs. For a solid four hours I kept as good a record of the Colorado Springs LEO radio traffic during the active shooter situation. I wanted to see how it was to take accurate notes under pressure, and there was so much I didn't get due to overlapping or garbled transmissions. I marked the local times, the callsign of the sender when possible or a generalization of what was said when I couldn't as well as short thoughts in parentheses. I also made it more difficult by having a fox news feed on at the same time and also...

That's NL6777's shack in the Netherlands.
>>28016193
interesting exercise OP. never thought about how hard it actually is
15:01 Fox news reports 3 LEOs injured.
15:04 Fox reports quiet for about 20 minutes, before which about three dozen rounds exchanged between shooter(s) and LEOs.
15:07 Colorado Springs Police and El Paso County Sheriff reports smokers and distraction devices used. Immediate yelling of LEO saying "PEOPLE RUNNING OUT GET UP HERE NOW!"
15:10 Fox News reports FBI SRT, ATF on site. Snipers now reporting on linked feed giving regular status reports
15:12 Fox News reports another officer down by the dumpster. unsub has hunting cap, trench/long coat. Linked...

So, be honest /k/, what happens when I fire regular 12 gauge shotgun shells out of my 26.5mm flare gun with an aluminium adapter?
You get an earth shattering kaboom.
>>28016126
Do you really think a flare gun was meant to handle those pressures? No Im not talking about the chamber walls.
>>28016126
Mmmm...you commit a felony?
Is /k/ really this autistic?

Is that a spic accent or do all Californians sound like that?
I live in california and I didn't know we are allowed to brandish rifles in public as long as they aren't loaded. Can anyone weigh in on what happened there and the law about open carry ARs?
>>28015883
Yes I am. You degenerated normie.
/k/, i have started shooting in a team, erm i dont know what to call it except it competes with other teams
I need to make my 10/22 a match quality gun, trying to make as tight a group as i can
i already have iron sights i want (cant use scopes), A match trigger, a bolt handle extension, and a extended magazine release, where do i go from here /k/?
Does your rifle like match-grade ammunition like Eley?
If not, a better barrel.
What I would add:
>recoil buffer
>auto-bolt release [unless included with trigger group]
>pillar and glass bedded stock/free-floated polymer stock
>>28015895
are there any barrels i can put irons on?
like on the stock barrel i mean? or do i have to get someone to attach sights it i change barrels?
also the pic are the sights i plan on using
>>28015841
I don't believe anything you said, but I'll play along. Does it have to be a 10/22 or semi automatic at all? Can it be a bolt gun?
Ok /k/, I was looking at buying some sort of carrier vest, mainly for innawoods fucking around and urban operating if the snackbars come around. What's your recommendations?
Shellback tac
>>28015493
Shellback Banshee, if it's still the best cheap carrier. Avoid condor unless you want it for airshit only.
Also, don't be a poorfag, and get ceramic plates.
>>28015610
What plates do you recommend?
Why is the "Class III license" myth so ubiquitous? There is no such thing as a 'class III license', but almost everybody thinks there is.
>>28015488
Because 3 is a magic number. Also all these NFA dealers advertising as "omg class III dealer I need ur machineguns now!!!" don't help.
>>28015488
but Gunsmith Cats wouldn't lie!
>>28015488
Fuddlore is still alive and well when it comes to basic and well established knowledge like caliber effectiveness. Now start talking about a relatively rare category of weapons, and people know even less about it.
Hey guys. Never posted here before so be gentle.
So I just turned 21, I'm generally very liberal but I'll be honest, guns are Fucking cool and useful.
Anyway, I'm looking for a very cheap pistol that is just to carry for protection. They people I buy lsd and weed from are... Less than reputable characters, to so the least. I have a suspicion that they have considered robbing me before. I really just want a pistol to be able to intimidate them if they try anything when I go to pick up. I really wish I could just find an aging hippie to buy from and not have to deal with this bullshit.
A quick Google search says that this Cobra freedom 380. It's super cheap and looks cool. I dont go to the range so I really don't care if it's shirty. I just want a piece of metal to scare off punks. Us this a good idea? Any other ones I should look into?
Thanks guys
FBI pls go.
Have fun getting yourself killed by people who actually know how to use guns.
>>28015368
I'm going to buy it legally and get permits as needed. I don't want to give gun owners a worse name.
Went to range left handed, cars bounce off walls and go down my shirt!
>>28014990
>Lefty
Literally the spawn of Satan.
>>28014990
Never seen shells land down the back of someones shirt so that's a new one for me.
They are going to leave scars :/
I dont feel like my ar15 is adequate enough for innawoods anymore now tat i have included innaplains into my regiments. huge wide open spaces over 1k yards from treeline to treeline. Am i just paranoid or are there more adequate guns I should be looking at.
>>28014896
You are paranoid
More 5.56 > Larger .308
>>28014993
What about 6.5
>>28014896
My group is making the switch to .308/.300 Win Mag right now for the same reason. Your fears are perfectly rational
short of technical difficulties ,can an Abrams ever be taken out in combat? 10 years of iraq yielded fucking nothing you compare that to only afew years of syria in which the whole stock of soviet junkers have almost completely been wiped out
fuck even the MRAP has a completely clean track record
>>28014797
>fuck even the MRAP has a completely clean track record
fighting against street glorified third world street urchins is different than fighting even a somewhat well supplied military
Abrams is nice, no tank is undeadable.
>>28014797
Along with gun control threads these and f35 threads need to be banned. Also the MRAP's track record is far from clean, pic related.
Convince me not to buy one of these over an ar or ak
>>28014715
The old ones are pieces of shit with crummy actions and super thin barrels.
The new ones are pieces of shit with crummy actions.
Also they cost a fuckload, for a piece of shit.
>Mini-14
Just get an AR senpai
>>28014715
Get the ares upper and a more traditional upper for an AR. Looks the same, better parts and cheaper mags.
