ok /k/ra/k/ers,
talk me out of buying this
>>28021832
What's the price tag?
>>28021842
haven't even started looking at prices yet. I'm expecting to pay 2500-3000
>>28021992
You'd better be expecting to pay a lot more than that, kiddo. It's not the Counterstrike buy menu out here IRL.
Can I get and opinion from /k about the CF-105 Arrow. A lot of Cucanadians think that this would have been an awesome plane. However Ig et the impression it would have been at best an above average interceptor.
Remember, that other nations were coming out with planes in the next few years after the Arrow program cancellation such as the. Mirage, F-4 and F-8 fighters.
>>28021792
Mostly Canadians are butthurt about it because it was basically the end of the Canadian aeronautic industry.
>>28021874
This. Imagine the F-35 but actually functioning, xboxhueg price tag and questionable application included.
>>28021874
Because amerifats didn't like that canada had a faster plane than them.
This came with a Mosin Nagant parts set with a cleaning kit, oil bottle, and ammo pouches that I bought online. I have no idea what it is, I know it isn't a Mosin Nagant part. What is it, /k/?
>>28021596
Middle part looks like a 12ga/20ga choke tool
It's an auto sear for a Mosin Nagant
R8 my purchase /k/
>>28021452
>inb4 glock/1911/hk/S&W fags show up
>>28021452
Preddy good.
>>28021452
looks great. Be sure to make at least one blog thread a day after you take it to the range to tell us all about your buyers remorse.
Best first 1911?
I'm looking to own a 1911 as a range toy, nothing more. What's the top models to get that are under $1000?
Pic related?
>>28021437
If it's under 1K, get the loaded model from Springfield.
Colt obviously
I think I paid $699 for my Ruger SR1911.
Great gun for what the value.
Look /k/,
i normally don´t browse this board, but i am very interested in weapons lately. And i´m sorry i have to ask this.
I bet these kind of threads are annoying as fuck to you and get posted everytime, but i always come here and look at the catalouge and i don´t find them.
My question is what is the best assault rifle? When i look for lists on the internet i always see shit like ak47 or m16. Which makes absolulutly no sense. I mean sure it´s important historically, but it´s obviosuly not the best in terms of performance.
I just want to know, if you...

assault rifles are almost impossible to get, retard
>>28021407
It's a hypothetical question you turburglar.
And OP, I'd take something I could get ammo for in the sandbox, most likely an AMD65
>>28021439
thanks, but i mean if you had all the ammo you need?
Alright /k/, I've got $900 and I want to ask y'all about what I should buy next. I've been eye balling a Argentine Mauser 1909 for $650 ($720) after taxes. It's numbers matching, shiny bore, stock and finish is perfect. Thing is though, I don't really have a "fighting rifle". All I own is milsurp. This is the first time i'm going to spend more than $600 on any firearm. So any advice is appreciated. Any 1909 owners? Pic related.
Bump
>>28021312
Get an AK.
You're probably no excellent marksmen and that magazine capacity is just gay.
Good for hunting , if thats all you ever plan to do.
Guy is throwing in some 7.65 dies and brass. I may just start reloading for 8mm, 7.65, and 54r if I buy the 1909
Blackpowder edition
>>28021297
Well that's just neat
>>28022501
It is, ain't it
>What are we gonna do on the bed?

Given the kind of wars America is currently fighting, how important is stealth really for fighter aircraft?
Wouldn`t you rather have ten F-16s than one F-22?
>>28021258
We dont even have airplane to airplane combat anymore, we should just use mobile launchers. Imagine how much money we could save if we just tomahawked everything.
>>28021284
Actually an aircraft delivering bombs is more cost effective, per sortie. A smart cruise missile has a high cost just for one sortie.

Does anyone else really not like handguns?
I was going to get a handgun to shoot but I really would prefer a long gun because honestly I am worried I will commit suicide with a handgun, whereas it is alot harder to turn a longer gun around and aim it at myself.
Has anyone else felt similarly?
Its kinda like when I'm afraid of heights; I'd never jump in a million years, even back when I really wanted to die. Because falling to me is just the worst way to die, even though it;s over pretty quick. But like, the possibility that I COULD jump, or that...

>because honestly I am worried I will commit suicide with a handgun
If this is a real concern for you then you shouldn't be around any firearms period. Yes, you can shoot yourself with a full length rifle or shotgun. People do it every day.
Also /k/ isn't your shrink so go get help with your problems.
>>28021128
>I am worried I will commit suicide with a handgun
You should not own firearms period.
/thread
>>28021128
Do us all a favor and don't buy any kind of fire arms.
Admit it, /k/. They aren't very practical, but they ARE the trademark of badassery and vengeance.
>>28021082
Are you fucking stupid?
Gloves are highly practical.
>>28021082
In mad max he has an honestly good reason for it. its an arm cannon that can be used while operating innacar.
>>28021105
Yeah. Most people don't know this but they can actually protect your hand from heat and cold. No shit!
Most people just assume it's a fashion accessory, but they're actually quite functional
Can anyone value this pistol for me? Some guy wants to trade it for my AR which I have about 1380 into and Im trying to figure out how much its worth, I see them going for anywhere between 700 and 2500 dollars.
Its a Polish P35, all matching serials, with the takedown lever, the grips may not be original. but it is Nazi Marked and would look nice next to my P38.

Which makes more sense for the average Joe self defense round. Why is the .38 round more costly than the 9mm but less penetration and stopping power?
>>28021020
9mm for your average Joe. More capacity, better price, etc etc.
More guns are made for 9mm.
>>28021020
>stopping power
>hey guys why is .32RF so expensive if it's shit
How did you find out about /k/?
>>28020981
If I told you, then I'd have to kill you.
>>28020981
I started browsing 4chan around 8 years ago. Started off at /b/, as most do. After awhile, I migrated to other boards. Mostly /tv/ and /k/.
It was just another board on 4chan I had interests in.
Is this a good amount of ammo for a bug out bag? All I have is a 10/22.
>Also bug out bag general thread
>>28020870
Personally I'd go with a different choice of ammo. I've found the sharp shoulder on those hollow points sometimes causes failures to feed in my 10/22. Nothing critical, but enough to shy away from as an only choice to rely on. YMMV.
It's alright. With a 10/22, win ammo will suit you just fine.
What else you got in your bag?
I'd recommend a shotgun if you can get one. Moss berg is good.
>>28020903
I'm gonna shoot some this weekend, just picked them up at cabela's for black friday. I'm interested to see how they perform.
