What the fuck is going on here and why can I not stop laughing at this!
Tired of black plastic polymer stuff.
Show me guns with real craftsmanship.
Why don't more manufacturer's offer an economy poorfag plastic model, and then a premier elite fine wood model?
I'll bump with what I got OP
>>28025759
Receiver is kind of ugly on this one, but the wood is sexy as hell
Are russians competent or incompetent?
>>28025678
Their conscripts seems to be very incompetent at everything.
Professional units seem to be competent enough.
Spetsnaz are highly competent.

Anyone knows if Aster can be used against ships like SM-2? And how effective it would be in such role?
>>28025633
Maybe. Doubt it would be all that effective. The SM-2 is already anemic against ships, and the Aster warhead is far smaller.
>>28025633
No, the Aster is a purpose designed Anti-air/Anti-balistic missile weapon (dependent on what type of Aster missile you are using). Meanwhile the SM-2 was designed from the start to combat both air and surface targets.
>>28026007
SM-2 is not that effective against ships really. Do we even know it's max range vs surface targets?

SE Turkey, Kurdish lawyer who was facing charges for saying the PKK are not terrorists was killed. Turks say the PKK not Turks killed him, smells like bullshit.
What turkshit are the policemen shooting? Is that gunman just running past them and they all fucking miss him? I've only read one policeman and the target were killed. Was this staged and they're just shooting blanks or are they really that worthless?
Shine your magic light of wisdom and knowledge on this incident /k/
Also viva la kurdistan
Who knows what really happened
I just hope this destabilizes turkey/incites protests.
>>28025569
he is in the clip standing with the journalists and police between the columns and the vehicle, then the camera pans away, guy runs past, and you see Elci five feet away or so on the other side of the columns dead. I'm guessing he saw the gunman was going for him and panicked and ran instead of just using the columns for cover? Or was trying to draw the line of fire away from the bystanders...
Seems like they were just shooting blanks for theater and this was a Turk assassination, government is trying...

Looks like 1911s and AR15 at the end there.
I was thinking of getting a handgun for the range as well as self defense, as was thinking of buying the Taurus pt92, any suggestions or tips?
>>28025429
they suck for concealed carry. They're fine otherwise.
expect a lot of
>taurus
posts though.
>>28025429
I hope you're not considering CC that thing, the only people that can really conceal that generally get around on motorized scooters powered by labored breathing and fast food.. Other than that it's probably the only good thing Taurus makes, plus it has a rail for a light for use in home.
>>28025429
>taurus
just save up the extra $100 and get something quality, goddamn
I was shooting my new P99 today I suddenly this huge pin began to walk off.
What the hell is this? it is broken in just one use?
another pic
trigger pivot pin, just tap it back in
Did you buy it used?
>>28025285
no it was new out of the box, those where the first 50 rounds.
I should add that it didn't FTE or FTF
With all the /pol/ news stuff happening these days I was thinking about building a saferoom in my house and doing some research. Most of the saferoom stuff recommends steel plates with plaster layers, but I was wondering - sandbags will stop the vast vast majority of small arms fire, right? Couldn't I just add a foot-wide spacer where the armor would be, and fill it with sandbags?
How well does a sandbag barrier do against rifle fire?
your life isn't that important. stop living in fear.
>>28025072
Can your house even support that much weight?
>>28025102
I don't have a basement and the saferoom would be on the first floor, so the sandbag barriers would be resting directly on the foundation. I think adding some reinforced steel supports will keep the wall together so it doesn't all just fall over one day

I'm trying to be prepared. I live within 600 miles of the mexican border, and the mexican cartels are some nasty shit

That appears to be a full scale model of a MiG 15, and I assume it's for education purposes.
What? Fighters? MIGs in specific? What is it you want to know?

Can somebody explain this shit? Most of the Soviet army was apparently equipped to fight this way as late as 1986, the units in Afghanistan had slightly more practical uniforms...

Soviet doctrine was to fight right out of their APCs. All the practical shit got stored in those battle taxis.
>>28025113

Looked sweet as fuck with big head mode enabled on goldeneye
>>28024886
>Bright red shoulder boards and collar insignia
Pretty inconsequential honestly, the annoying shine of an SSh-68 will give you away before minute bits of red fabric will.
>Light colored khakish uniform instead at least going for an olive drab color
It blends in well in a variety of environments.
>High top combat boots
Those are called "jackboots," Anon. They slip on easily and quickly, and are comfortable if fitted correctly. Pretty high-speed tbqh
>form fitting "utility" uniform, no cargo pockets.
Ultimately unnecessary, anything of practical significance is tucked away in pouches or your rucksack, where it is easy to access and will not get lost.
The main flaw of Soviet battledress is the Y-strap/belt complex, it is designed in a way that allows the belt pouches to slide around and are annoying as fuck. Comfort in general took a backseat in Soviet equipment design.
