Would anyone recommend this pistol?
>>28254792
Yes, make an SBR.
>>28254792
>Would anyone recommend this pistol?
Not if you are going to leave it as a pistol.
An exception would be if you already have a decent collection and just want a "toy" regardless of being practical.
>>28254792
Pretty much pointless except as an SBR workaround
Put a real stock on it if innawoods or at home, SIG brace for range

They were never in.

I could let the Death Star slide, that shit took years and years with slave labour to build, along with using advanced technology specifically developed for years.
But this shit, this shit is the largest "fuck you" to physics and fans of a given series I have ever seen.

How did they even get a permit for that thing?
im in air force studying to be a pilot
i cant undesrtand how there can be people who willingly go to infantry
to get yelled at to charge forward and get their leg exploded by an IED while they carry an 90lbs bag
>>28254752
it's fun
on the other hand im afraid of
1- ejecting and get hurt
2- crashing while taking off/landing
3 - ejecting over the sea
4- being captured by isis
5 - puke/shit myself/ cry during flying
going to infantry is like wanting to become a cuuck of the captain/sargeant
you are willingly saying : you can force me to die if you want

Post lever guns. Pic related.
Is the average lever action reliable as a bolt action rifle?

Not typically. But anything is possible.

My 50 year old mother wants to get a pistol for range shooting and protection. What should I recommend she try out?
She's never owned her own gun before.
My parents bought my mom a rossi 38 special for carry after we got driven out of a bum ass town by the druggies and the only cop
You should work on your grammar and also read the sticky: found at the top of the front page.
I hope that helped and also sage.
>>28254226
Take her to the range and let her try out some pistols.
So what's the problem with more regular issuance of drum magazines for assault rifles to infantry?
Is it weight? Reliability? A fear that it will encourage the infantryman to waste ammunition?
Why not just issue a single drum that is the initial magazine in the weapon, with the infantryman carrying additional, more conventional 30 round mags as they normally would?
>>28254365
AR drums are fucking terrible. Barely worth it as even a range toy.
>>28254365
heavy as fuck

>Why not just issue a single drum that is the initial magazine in the weapon, with the infantryman carrying additional, more conventional 30 round mags as they normally would?
Because standardization and economy of scale. And you also have to put that mag somewhere after using it, they are not disposable, especially not 200 bucks a pop drums.
>>28254395
Weren't the X-Products and Magpul drums not that bad?
Hey /k/, gun control is a cancer brought onto society by globalists enforcing cultural Marxism. We can escape these chains and form our own pack.
How?
Form Private Military service to countries without armed forces under the condition of funding and a paid headquarters.
>What country(s)?
Nauru
Palau
Samoa
Solomon Islands
Tuvalu
Federated States of Micronesia
Marshall Islands
Kiribati
What do these countries have in common?
>Low IQ High Obesity Rate Natives
>Easily Corruptable government
>All in the same area, easy empire
As we grow and get stronger with military grade weaponry, we can invade their political and economic systems with people of our own. We will have housing in our Military bases and imported South American/Southeast Asian/European prostitutes for breeding purposes and schools. We can easily lead a coup on the smaller islands as their police training is mile below than some of ours. We can form a nation.

Just trying to learn .22 ammo. Why choose copper-plated vs lead?
Why choose standard velocity vs high velocity vs hyper velocity?
What is mini mag?
What is stinger?
What is interceptor?
Is SuperExtra an Aguila branding term for high velocity rating?
Are .22 hollow points for advantages in in-flight ballistics like rifle bullets or wounding like pistol bullets?
Is there any real difference between 36gr & 40gr?
>>28254006
So far the only .22 I have is a 10/22 takedown.
>>28254006
>mini mag, stinger, interceptor
probably marketing names
If I were you, I would disregard the standard/hi/low velocity branding and look at the Feet Per Second (FPS) data, usually on the box.
speed of sound is around 1,050 FPS making most .22LR barely supersonic.
Copper plated ammo won't leave lead fouling in your barrel, copper plated ammo will leave copper fouling in your barrel.
Copper fouling is probably better than lead fouling, but you should...

>Copper plated ammo won't leave lead fouling in your barrel
*It won't leave as much lead fouling in the barrel as a solid lead bullet.
You might also try putting a patch on the end of a nylon brush and pushing it through that way, so you won't be dragging as much dirt back through the bore if you don't stop to remove the brush when it's through.
>wet patch with hoppes, put on end of nylon brush

What do you carry as your CCW? How do you carry it?
I'm debating between getting a Glock 26 or getting an M&P Shield. Thinking I'll carry appendix style because it seems to be the most comfortable and least obtrusive for me.
I've handed both and like the M&P's feel a lot, but I think I need more experience with both before I can decide.
I think the Glock is attractive because then I could get a Glock 17 and have a full sized version of my CC gun, and be able to have common magazines between them, and my Sub 2000, as well as the multitude of other guns out there that take glockmags.
Also been considering a Glock 43 because I'm a skinny guy.
Haven't fondled the glock. I don't mind the shield except when I've handled it the grip felt like it didn't have enough meat on its bones. But if you like the feel of the shield go with it. I bought a SW Bodyguard because I wear basketball shorts 11 months outta the year
>>28253951
I say Glock 26.
Compatibility = awesome.
If your thinking about the 43.. You may as well get the shield. Extra round, and $100 cheaper.
Also... No mag compatibility... = No 33rd mag reload. The 43 sucks.
>>28253951
I like the Shield a lot and carry it IWB at 3:30. Also a skinny guy and it's easy to conceal. Sometimes carry G19. The 26 would be attractive primarily because of capacity and mag compatibility but I prefer the smaller gun. I agree Shield over G43.

What's with these black F-16s parked at Area 51?
Do we have Greys flying aggressors at Red Flag or something?

I wouldn't worry about it.
