How hard is to (legally) get firearms in your commie country, /k/omrads?
>>28272616
>that spic has a Draco pistol
Thanks Mr. Holder
>>28272616
Austria: go to the store

>>28272759
Can I buy an AUG with the fun switch there?
Air Combat Thread?
>>28272583
Air combat is a meme. Battles are won in space
>>28272606
Or on top of very tall mountains.
Well there is that time where an F-15 shot down a satellite while in a supersonic, straight up climb, does that count?
So how bad do you guys think the panic buying is going to get? Right now it doesnt se too bad but a lot of budget rifles and stuff seem to be going quick. What do you guys think we have to look forward to in the coming year? Is it worth panicking?
>tfw I have about $10k to blow on shit in a few months
>everything will be sold out or prices jacked up by then
>>28272502
It's only worse until a Republican gets in.
>>28272502
naw i dont think so, everyone has been buying shit like crazy and manufacturing numbers are through the roof since the last panic, just buy stuff you actually want
>>28272506
thats when the current gun bubble will collapse and wasr10s will be back to $299 OP
Looking go buy either a Mossberg 500 or Mossberg Maverick to store at home for home-defense. Leaning towards Maverick, currently, since I've read they are basically the same, but only at a cheaper price.
Thoughts and opinions on these two? Any other recommendations are welcome.
I just need to wait the ten days, right? I'm in [spoiler]California
>>28272336
If you love America more than your money get the 500. If you love your money more than your country. Get the 88. The quality changes are not parts that wear-down.
>>28272341
Also leaning towards Maverick because 88 is my birth year; forgot to mention that.
Is 500 bantum okay? It's a youth model, and it seems appealing because it'll take less space in storage. Anyone one have experience with bantums? It's not like it's too small, right?
The maverick is fine. Source: I owned one.
I am a male-to-female transgender person living in a very conservative neighborhood. I have plans to move to a more tolerant location in a couple more years, but until that time I need protection. I fortunately know of a gun dealer who would sell me a gun since I've gotten to know him better and he doesn't really care about what I am as long as he gets his money and that I do not use it for anything illegal.
Now what kind of gun should someone like myself get? I am thinking of a handgun, of course, like a pistol. but I am fairly new to the world of guns. What...

1) Fuck you. No one gives two shit ls about your snowflake status. Do you actually think Sig Sauer or Glock has a special "Transgender Line" of products? Again, fuck you.
2) Buying a gun from a drug dealer and not a gun store (especially given that you're so mentally sound and all) is a great idea. You should totally do that.
3) Fuck you.
Well /k/, I had to have the inevitable conversation about guns with my dad today while I was home for the holidays. I talked about how I wanted a "good bolt action" and he keeps trying to talk up modern Savage Arms guns and other sad polymer tacticool garbage. I kept showing him a bunch of mosin nagants that I was eyeing at the local gun show and he can't understand why I want one. It certainly doesn't help that he was a long time veteran in the Navy, and is extremely hesitant to give the Russians any credit for any firearm that they have ever produced. I explained how it is a legendary rifle, and the conversation that followed was... painful
>"Well if you buy an old shitty rifle but you can't find ammo for it because it sells some weird round then it's useless."
>It occurred to me he has no idea what 7.62 is.
>"Where did you even get this idea to get this gun? Did you just come up with it?"
>I eh... I go on a web forum about guns and military stuff and it's basically the gun mascot
"Well is this a web forum about gun enthusiasts or gun professionals? I mean you go on that web forum and you don't know anything about guns."
>Implying I don't know anything about guns because I don't know anything about his Fudd trash
>Don't have the heart to tell him I got it off 4chan /k/ because that would be a whole other conversation I didn't want to have
>Politely remind him that the mosin has been used in every major conflict since the Boxer Rebellion
>"So have rocks."
How do I make him see reason? Is it even worth it at this point?
It is very clear that the kids are out for Christmas right now.
>>28272191
That's very helpful, thanks faggot.
>>28272179
You're not planning on buying it for your dad, so why do you give a shit about his opinion of it? Get whatever you want.
Are snipers (not designated marksmen) still relevant now that we have drones?
>>28272118
Yeah, for situations where you'd want no/little collateral damage
>implying we care about collateral damage anyway
yes, very
they more often than not double as ground reconnaissance assets. Ground recon and intel are still vital components of the commander's link with the battlespace, blah blah

Alrighty, /Weapons/.
What do you keep in your car?
Which of these two guns is better suited for use as a car rifle?
I'm looking for something to possibly keep in the trunk of a Corolla. I narrowed it down to these two because they fit my basic constraints for a rifle intended to be kept in the back of an econobox sedan.
-Iron sights
-Bolt action
-Full size cartridge with capable of firing modern FMJ and Soft Point rounds
-Can be fed from stripper clips
-Not expensive, can easily be repaired if broken or replaced if stolen or broken...

Mauser in .308 imo. Some converted rifles are pretty baller and cheap
>>28271830
Moist nugget senpai, ammo is cheep accurate and will fuck up any car/ person causing a threat
I conceal carry a S&W 442 so that's with me. Nothing specific for my car. Me personally was thinking of a pistol grip shotgun or a folding stock AK.
I thought you guys would get a kick out of this
It's a Marine infantry vet who make photo sets with climate trooper figures in real-life scenarios.

How do you guys feel about the Sig Sauer 1911-22? Saw one for sale and I want to hear some opinions.
Enjoy your jams

Would you like some toast with that jam?

This, for some reason SIG cannot into .22lr.
Unarmed police - yay or nay?
Do you think your local police could be partly or wholly disarmed?
>>28271325
I think civilian law enforcement should adhere to the same laws that bind every other civilian, other than that there's little point in disarming them further.
>>28271345
Have an upvote. I agree with that.

kek, keep up the good work though, i am thoroughly entertained.
Is Sikhism the most /k/ religion out there? One of its laws is you have to carry a weapon at all times and be ready to defend yourself or others if the need should arise (technically a kirpan but many Sikhs say that guns should also be considered under their religion since a knife is inadequate for defense in this day and age).
>>28271014
>/k/ubism
But, yeah. Sikhism is second place
>>28271036
I meant real religions, not actual memes.
