Does /k/ sleep with a loaded gun nearby? How does /k/ keep their home defense guns near?
I keep the Model 88 in pic-related unloaded, with 5 shells on the butt sleeve. When I'm awake, it sits next to wherever I'm focusing my activities (right next to my desk while gaming for instance). And when I'm asleep, I put it a few feet away from me in a nook behind the dresser next to me, so I can reach it in a second or two. I don't keep it loaded on the extremely unlikely, off-chance I fuck with it while I'm half-asleep or if someone brings a guest and...

>worried about a drop
You're not gonna touch it in your sleep, and keep it away from children and you will have literally no problems.
Have fun getting anally raped by Jamal when you can't load your shotgun fast enough.
This, where do you live OP. You sound like a good bootycall.
Seriously though shotgun loaded 5+1 with slugs and buckshot, pistols on both sides of the bed so I don't have to reach over the wife/vice versa.
Also, you'd better be at the end of a hallway and have hard to access windows.
Basically this. It's great to want to keep your firearm safe, but you're taking a bigger risk by keeping it unloaded.
It will be difficult to try and load that gun in a panic, with a angry dindu coming towards you.
It's easier to just flick the safety off and engage the target accordingly.
Any movies that capture the modern US Army like Generation Kill did for the Marines?
Attack on Titan
lol, how old/out of touch do you even?
We all laugh at the PAK-FA, because it's 12 production planes
We all laugh at the T-14, because China has better tanks
What about the Admiral Gorshkov? What to say if we want to ridicule it?
Here is video from its trials.
Opinions on SDI?
I've been thinking about possibly taking their courses some day.
Yeah but you get to be a certified gunsmith, and/or get an associates degree from an accredited university. I don't think /k/ can offer that.
Also their courses get you a bunch of cool shit, like a hydrodip kit and a Hornady Lock and Load ammo press, and you get to build your own 10/22, AR-15, AR-10 and 1911 from receivers.
You're the only ones who will understand my dilemma, /k/.
I want an HK USP (full size only, I hate compact guns). I love everything about the gun. But I can't decide what caliber I want.
The logic in me tells me 9mm because it's cheaper to shoot but my dick and my heart tell me to get the .45 because that's the way the USP was meant to be. Also the mag capacity difference is only 3 rounds!
This will be for home defense (and CC if I can pull it off but please don't make this a thread about whether or not I can conceal it, let me handle that).
New Georgian 9mm SMG Iamani.
As seen on vatnikchan.
As an Ohioan, is this legit?
Basically, according to the site, i can watch a video, take an 11 question test, and pay $80 to get a VA CCW permit, and with Ohio recognizing every other states permits, would allow me to carry in OH without paying $150 and doing the 10 hours of live training OH requires. I also assume that i could probably easily convert the VA license to an OH one down the line.... Anyone know anything about this/done it before?
Bought a glock 19, just notice this on the rear of the gun. Looks like its chipped or something. Not sure if it'll effect the function of the gun or anything. Haven't shot it yet, if its messed up I'll take it back tomorrow
It's so you can remove back plate to disassemble the slide
Check it out, they fucking ruined Armslist
it's no secret that /k/ is weeaboo'd out. so how come you guys arent on top of ideas like pic? Im not the biggest anime fan but I would absolutely make my range gun into this thing.
What kind of gun is this?
Could I CC it?
HERE IN MY ARMORY
Hello /k/ommandos. I'm thinking about building an HK91.
I've found, what seems to be, a really well priced parts kit:
Is the only part I would need outside of this a receiver? I found one for, what seems priced really high: http://brethrenarms.com/product/ptr-91-stripped-receiver/
Is there anything missing from this build? Would I need anything for 922r? Is there a better place to buy a receiver?
Any answers would really help.
I always see US servicemen make references to how often people fuck up in their unit and get arrested for drunk driving or whatever and the whole unit has to go to 4 hour long "safety briefs".
Is that real? In my military we were only told once that if we ever did something stupid like that we would get fucked in military prison. I never heard of anyone fucking up like that. Worst thing that happened was getting extra guard duty because you got a NCO pissed or something. No 4 hour long safety briefs, ever.
This is a stupid question but I don't know where else to ask.
What kind of pets can you keep in the Marine barracks?
I have a pet male African bullfrog that weighs about 3 pounds and is the size of a small dinner plate. I've had him for 9 years and he's basically family. He lives in a 10 gallon aquarium. Could I keep him in the Marine barracks?
They are going to fuck with it so much.
They are going to take it out, it's going to get lose in the marines, bite a couple people then it'll end up getting stabbed and your entire PLT will get shitcanned by your Sgt Maj
