Are their courses any better than standard military training? Also their contracts worth it?

I know some guys who went there for some 5 day classes, the loved it. They raved about the shoot house.
I went to High risk Warrants/Hostage Rescue/Extreme Officer Survival -all for LE, around 2000, when it was Blackwater.
The Facilities were freaking awesome, the staff was great, -very professional and knowledgeable. All the instructors in my Extreme Officer Survival class had been in multiple shootouts. The other classes were taught by LAPD SWAT. They fly their instructors in from wherever for the classes. They had multiple live fire shoothouses with moveable rooms, a Hogans alley, and tons of different ranges. Steel, Night Fire, 1,000 meter...when I left they were building...

>want a .22lr pistol
Are there any good .22lr 1911's? Any worth a damn under $400 that is? Should I just settle and get a Ruger 22/45?
>>28326216
Get a deagle in .22lr

Might work if the bolt and slide was made from aluminum....
>10k rounds of .22lr
Fuck off
Your part of the god damn problem you fucking shitass.
So I've been a private security guard for about a year now, I started off with Securitas and now I'm with smaller local family owned company that allows me to wear body armor, bloused boots, fully armed duty belt (baton, MK4 OC spray, pistol, and knife). I do mostly on site, started doing driving patrols. Fuck no one told me about kicking out homeless people of the property site.
I feel sorry for them, but I got a job to do.
I'm doing this because I know I have some medical issues that would DQ me for military enlistment and applying with any LEO agency....

Yeah so, I'm not a liberal douche bag.
I do have other mall ninja gear, AR15 16" 1:9 twist non-chrome lined 5.56,R870 & M500 shotguns, black kevlar helmets (black on the inside not just outside), bullet proof vests (both concealable and outer/tactical), Oakley M-Frame shooting glasses.
I have steiner binoculars 12x42 predators, Russian Bagish 8x30, and ATN DNVM-4. Also have black Fox 40 whistle, and U.S. G.I. whistle in OD.

I just thought it was funny they had permit for a baton. then i noticed the state

The trilby of the gun world folks
The only military personnel who have experience in a wife variety of firearms (enough to offer actual opinions) are SOF vets. Everyone else is a fat fuck talking out of their ass.
If someone drops the fact that they were in the military into random conversations, ignore them. It means they want something from you.
Vets shouldn't be seen or heard.
Uhh, most military guys who aren't dumbass POGs or in the AF have a hell of a lot of experience with AR-15 type platforms and can probably manipulate that weapon far better than a novice twenty something libtarded bench shooter who babies his rifle

What would your countries army do, if this occurs? Also general tread on punishments in the army.
Pic related: There is going to be an investigation to this Belgian paratrooper. He is already suspended and waiting for his verdict. But there is also a media shitstorm around this event and in support of this paratrooper. Likely Belgian defence will lighten his punishment.

What did he do? Shop on duty?
OP is a fagget
This American paratrooper got extra duty for celebrating his upcoming departure by making a parachute jump with his pet fish.
/k/ do you think bio-enhancements/Genetic experimentation to create super soldiers or whatever is be is a better way than just creating robots/augmentated humans?
The argument of Organic vs Machine
Depends on which one develops faster and which is easiest to implement
>be me, yesterday
>using heavy flashlight while sitting

>lands directly on balls

If operators had robotic dicks, their combat proficiency could see an increase.
>>28341563
>>28341588
Seeing how we barely have robots that can walk (as in there still pretty damn new) And we already have people getting minor body augmentations, at first it would be enhanced humans. would just take time for robots to catch up and their advantages over humans to be useful enough
Are we living in a golden age of amateur gunsmithing?
>>28315005
80% has lead to an increase in quality amateur gunsmithing
Police buybacks have led to an increase in quantity
I would say yes. I'll be finished with this within the next few days. Closed bolt, semi auto. Takes .45 glock mags. Designed with help from the /k/ kik group.
>>28315005
How that grip is supposed to work? You'd need to have a 5" finger wtf
I used to believe all the M14/M1A mystique, and how it is pretty much as American as you can get.
But now reading more about it e.g. out of the box accuracy, weight, cost of ammo I'm not sure if I should get it instead of an AR.
What do you guys think? The M1A in question will be a Norinco M305.
It all comes down to why you want it.
If it's for a range queen/looks/impractical reasons, go right ahead. Buy it, you'll love it.
If it's for collection, be sure to get a mostly US GI one, the new models will not appreciate.
If it's for practical use/shtf planning/etc, you will be better served with something else.
>>28314457
It has little to no merits over a similarly priced ar-10 or even some g3 clone.
>>28314495
>g3 clone
My bad forgot to mention, I'm from Canada. So no G3's and FALs..
>>28314482
>It all comes down to why you want it.
Literally the first time I saw it was probably in either FMJ, Forest Gump, or BHD. If I were to make it into shtf, I'd save for an EBR chassis or something.
Are they generally easy to work on? Install drop-in parts, etc? I can score a new Norc M1A...

So /k/, how was your Christmas haul? You guys get any good /k/ related stuff? Any rich fags get some new fancy toys? Any kids of rich fags get some good loot? Here is what I got from the ol' rents.

Not all /k/-related stuff, but my parents were very generous this year.
I still have a few clothes, boots, and ammo coming in the mail, but that's about it.

Show your rooms /k/, also is that the correct way to place the murica flag?
>>28351517
No. Stars always on the viewer left
This board is 70% Israel and Russia shills, 10% noguns Euro trash, and the remainder is traitor apologists who burn the flag, jerk off to American soldiers being killed, and whine about wishing they lived in Rhodesia.
There are no patriots here anymore, anon. Only traitors.
>>28351536
that's not true, any US servicemen wear the flag backwards on their right shoulder to make sure the stars are always leading
however hanging a flag like that is not correct, at the most it should be tilted of a pole with the stars on top
US Army Forward Observer 13F in 3 years here. Looking to discuss Plate Carrier/Chest Rig setups for forward observers
go to the gear queer general dumb fuck newfag
>>28349863
oh ok fuck it thread is over delete this then what would you rather discuss then???
>>28349913
Discuss the same thing in the gear queer thread dumbass
jesus christ I definitely wouldn't trust someone as retarded as you to be a forward observer holy shit
I get major anxiety when flying due to how little control I have.
Totally defenceless, unarmed, trapped, claustrophobic, trusting two guys you can't even see with your life. It's just all terrible.
What's the best protocol if you are involved in a hijacking?
What if the plane makes a steep uncontrolled decent in a possible pilot suicide (Germanwings flight 9525)?
Where's the best place to sit?
I'd feel much better if they let law abiding citizens carry on planes.
Sit by an emergency door and bring a parachute in your carry on luggage.
