Alright /k/ I recently got a mosin nagant in its original form and all its original parts. I want to go hunting but I don't know if just a stock mosin would do the job? Thanks

>I want to go hunting but I don't know if just a stock mosin would do the job? Thanks
It will.
Nah it was made to kill humans, not animals... :^)
>>28338091
Then you probably shouldn't have gotten a Mosin. Get something else.
In an emergency situation where a full crew is not available, how effectively can a single person operate an MBT?
Given that you can't drive and operate the turret at the same time, not well.
Sure. Not effectively though, you could switch seats in order to use the main gun, then switch again to reload, then switch again to preposition the tank. Sitting duck the whole time, but not impossible.
If that is porn, sauce?
tewi a shit
give sauce anyway
I live in New Hampshire (where there is allot of uninhabited woods). I am sick of shooting at the same old range, can you guys school me on the do's and dont's of oper8ing innawoods. Where do I go and what do I avoid?
>>28337909
Don't get caught. That is the only rule
>instead of calling the authority in charge of stewarding the land I want to shoot on I'll ask a bunch of 14 year olds on /k/
Why are you doing this? If it's the National Forest, call the Forest Service or go to the website for it. Each designated forest has its own web page. If it's private property, find the owner and ask.
>>28337958
Agreed.
Be a responsible firearms owner, OP. You need a safe backstop for your rounds, and no risk of those rounds continuing on into inhabited areas, vehicles, hunters, etc.

Wow, technology is neat.
OBLIGATORY

One of these things is a dedicated bomber. (Hint: it is not the F-35.)
I have yet to see any proper explanation of how to prioritize targets, and what order to shoot enemies in a gunfight with multiple targets. So, I think we need to codify the proper order of targets. I've given this some thought, and this is what I've come up with. Answer the first question. If there is more than one answer, move on to the next question using the answers from the previous. Continue until there is only one answer.
>Who needs to be shot?

You shoot anyone you can as fast as you can.
People that are not in cover are killed very quickly.
>>28337785
you do it the same way we did it in Bradley Gunnery.
>Near before far
a closer target has a better chance of hitting you than a far target
>Staionary before moving
plain and simple, someone not moving has a better chance of popping you than someone sprinting along
>Frontal before flank
this applies more to vehicles, but if someone is facing you, they can sight down on you

Hey /k/,i'm buying a PPS-43 parts kit and i was wondering what i need to do to make it into a "pistol" variant or a SBR. Pic related it's the kit.

A barrel may be tricky to find, do you have any idea where you will get yours?
This is probably a longshot but /v/ doesn't really into military wargame simulators and apparently the slavs on /wgg/ can't afford this game.
Has anyone had any experience with Command Air Naval Operations? Really interested in the genre and I've played other wargames like Combat Mission, Graviteam Tactics, Panzer General, Harpoon, The Red Pill etc and enjoyed the hell out of them. Is this game better ? Does it have good replayability?
It looks exactly like the warsim video game that I have made up in my head except ACTUALLY real.

It's a proper simulator, not even in the same league as wargames like Combat Mission or even Harpoon.
Here you go family, try it for yourself

Hey /k/. My Arsenal is currently in cases, stacked in a corner. I'd like to display them, and was thinking of using pegboard like pic related. The walls are cinder block, so no fear of the weight pulling it out of the drywall.
But that seems so... Plain. Requesting pics of display cases made from old crates, bookshelves, whatever.
Or maybe I'll just stick em in a safe, alone, in the dark ;_;
Pegboard is based
Put them in a safe unless you want to get robbed. Never leave your house with firearms unless they are somehow concealed, etc etc

Cinder block walls & vault door for the win
All movie plot stuff aside.
Marky Mark says in the movie that he lost his first aid kit, (was on his ruck and obviously got ripped off from jumping off a cliff) before plugging them with dirt. Im pretty sure the other members of the teams had IFAKs (as is SOP and are not that large), but they were wounded/overwhelmed too fast for that to do any good? Or is there a good chance they actually lost all their supplies in the fall/firefight? I understand the fight itself did not take long.
I second this
Any ideas anyone
>look ma, I posted it again
OKay, lets see, where to begin. First off, Seals on LRRP shouldn't have gone 100% on their rest plan, fucking retarded. Kids in Basic training know you don't ALL bed down when on an OP. 2nd, Seals are tough, not all of them are smart, for fucks sake their commo guy didn't even know how to use his radio or reprogram it when it shit the bed. That and their commo plan included a fucking 8 hour window of no comms before anyone even stopped picking their noses to say, "Hey, anyone heard from those dudes we sent into an enemy AO?" Anyone who keeps their IFAK...

How does /k/ feel about the Browning Hi Power? My grandfather gave me his before he died, his was an FN Hi Power. Which ones are built best? Which are rarest?

The Mauser 80SA is the best, anything else is untermensch.

The best 9mm. Only CZ-75 compares to it.
This a good thread to ask this. Is the safety supposed to be stiff as fuck? I could just be a bitch, but I can't manipulate with just my thumb. Is there a way to fix this without giving it to a smith?
Before recent events, the weapons market didn't seem like it was worth investing in.
After examining the firearms market over the past few months, the fund I represent has decided that weapons and ammunition represent a unique investment opportunity that could easily yield massive returns over the next few years.
Therefore, who would be the people to contact to secure large numbers of firearms? I'm looking to purchase upwards of 150,000 AR pattern rifles, and somewhere around the mark of five hundred million rounds of 5.56.
Further, I'd like...

Hey /k/, I'm in the market. Looking for a cheap-ish ($400-800) compact pistol that I can use for both home defense and CC. Accuracy at range (25-50yd) is nice but pretty much secondary.
Reason this is CZ general (other than the fact that CZ handguns don't get enough love around here) is that I've been researching a lot and I've pretty much narrowed it down to three CZ models or a glock 19. The options for me are:
CZ P-01
CZ P-07
CZ-75 PCR
Glock 19
I'm most interested in the P-01 at the moment due to what I've heard...

One thing I'm a bit ambivalent on is the stock sights on the CZ pistols. Of the tons of stuff I see or read about them, not much is positive. I've handled a few at an indoor range and never thought it was a problem, but that was with a full sized 75B and a P-09. Can someone confirm that it's a real problem? The sights on this look a little goofy and bad for CC, are these the stock sights on the P-07?
if you are serious about ccw buy the glock
overall its less hassle to carry
having no hammer is nice for iwb
it wont rust
its easier to get holsters though cz holster availability has greatly improved
im not saying the cz is bad gun but buy the glock for ccw if it was just range/fun use id rank the cz over glock its nicer to shoot
So /k/, I'm apparently a dumbass somehow. Was taking apart and cleaning a friend's P238 after our first trip to the range, and when I put it back together, this happened, and I have no idea why.
This happened once before when I was giving it an initial inspection, but it fixed itself when I took it apart and put it back together again. What did I do wrong so that this happened (again)? The manual doesn't really cover this and I can't seem to see what's causing this.
It's just a phase, the tribal tatoo thing will eventually disappear after the gun finishes his puberty.

Guide rod installed incorrectly or you forgot the recoil spring.
I have a P938 which is the same internals and the only thing I can guess is you fucked up the recoil spring and guide rod installation. Possibly the ejector is sticking as well.
