Who would hug the mom goat?
How do rappers survive getting shot 6+ times? Are they getting shot with .22? Is it terrible shot placement?
Discuss
Pistol cartridges are terrible at killing people in a timely fashion.
This is common knowledge, perhaps you should lurk more.

Because bullets to their nuts only make their balls fatter.
Hey /k/ I was planning on getting a ps-90 soon to sbr, what's a good cheap optic for it until I save up for an aimpoint t-1 or t-2, also iron sights for it as well.
Bushnell TRS-25, Primary Arms Advanced Micro Red Dot
>>28339892
Put that cheap optic money towards the T1/T2, dummy. You'll get it faster and you won't have a crap optic left over.
>>28339923 the t1 and t2 are very expensive. I don't want to wait months to go shoot my gun with a dot sight. And I can put the cheap-o on my sub-2k or a 22
I want to mount an Aimpoint pro on an Ak. What are my options for side mounts?
It's looking like the AK 303 mount might fit the bill, but I'm concerned that I'd have to remove the optic in order to field strip the rifle.
>>28339754
You will have to remove it to clean the rifle, but that's okay. Good side mounts are built to hold zero when removed.
>>28339754
>>28339821
What this anon said. It ought to hold zero since it uses the side rail.
>>28339821
Wandering zero is what I'm worried about. A chin weld, or an offset mount isn't a big deal, because aimpoints have little parallax.
Thoughts? Everyone seems to think this is either the god tier subcompact for ultimate conceal-ability or an overpriced less than reliable pistol. Money is not an issue with me, but getting spotted with my carry piece is (I would lose my job at a minimum). I am thinking whatever gun I get will end up being ankle carried since I wear a tailored shirt + suit daily. I am not worried so much about being able to get to the weapon instantly (like in a robbery situation) so much as I am worried about an active shooter situation (have been within 50 meters of a workplace shooting recently...

>god tier subcompact for ultimate conceal-ability or an overpriced less than reliable pistol
It's really neither. I have one, and only carry it when I'm dressed like you describe (which is rare for me)
It's tiny and would conceal even in a fitted shirt with a decent IWB holster, so you wouldn't even have to ankle carry. Slip a spare mag in your coat pocket and you'll be good.
Anyway, they can be found on sale online for $500, but are usually...

its bretty gud, its my daily pocket carry/backup
>>28339909
also, use the 7 round extendo clips.
I want a semi auto rifle in 556 or 762. However I live in new york and I don't want a frankenstein ar15/ak. What other options are avaliable to me? I know about the mini14 but not much else.
Mini 30
>>28339659
SKS?
Honestly I would prefer a new Mini though, they're supposed to be pretty damn accurate these days.
Plus if you reload, .223 brass and boolits are cheaper and more available than x39
.308 garand from the cmp.
sks
Realistically how well is a quality, Russian SKS going to serve you in a SHTF type situation?
Is there any firearm with just as accessible ammo, around the same CAD $200 price point, that would perform better in rough situations?

>Realistically how well is a quality, Russian SKS going to serve you in a SHTF type situation?
well
>Is there any firearm with just as accessible ammo, around the same CAD $200 price point, that would perform better in rough situations?
no
>>28339560
I thought hard about buying an sks.
Then i gravitated towards a vz2008.
Then i decided to buy an wasr 10.
I cant find a decent sks for less than $350. Why not spend another $250 and get an ak?
>>28339641
the mounties won't let him.
I've overly invested in 7.62.54R, I admit. I have a PU sniper, and an M39.
I'm looking for a more modern gun that uses the same round, and VEPR is what comes up. But there seem to be a lot of options out there.
Atlantic has this, with the Rosewood furniture, Classic has that, and it's cheaper, but probably the same thing just not gilded.
If /k/ was going to buy a modern 7.62x54R rifle, what would it be?!?
I'll end up buying the best suggestion posted. And start a thread showing the unboxing.
Don't bother with 54r. Go .308 or go home.
>>28339544
I already have a PTR91 and a NM M1-A. This is about a different cartridge I like. But thanks for bumping the thread.
I'd buy one of these in a heartbeat if it didn't take special snowflake single-stack mags. If they made a .308 model that took G3 mags it'd be perfect.
I have 800 dollars. What is the best gun to get?
>>28339289
The best gun for what, exactly?
>>28339296
OP here I need the best gun to rob people after I'm done sucking their dick.
an ar or an ak depending on your preference.
Have any other komrades been reading this /k/ristmas? Poilu is now among my favorite war stories, what else do you guys recommend?
Also general /k/ /lit/ thread
WWII by James Jones, though it's long out of print. You'll have to look on eBay. It's a large art book jammed full of war propaganda by all sides, with the author of the Thin Red Line giving you a running profanity-laden unromantic commentary on what it was like to live through the period.
Up Front by Bill Mauldin.
Crusade by Eisenhower and A Soldier's Story by Bradley.
That'll get you started.

Hey /k/
Just got pic related K11. Took it out to the range today and it shot fine, but very slightly high. Is this normal for the k11 or k31?
I am well versed in the technical differences between the two rifles, and that the k31 is basically just the improved k11. But my main question is will i be able to achieve the same accuracy i would with a k11 as I would be able to obtain from a k31? Do any of you reload this?
General swiss thread.
>>28339061
>very slightly high
Are YOU very slightly high?
>>28339066
no just retarded
What distance(s) were you shooting at? The K11 rear sight starts at 300m, whereas the K31 sight starts at 100m.
I'm thinking of getting a Rhino if they've improved the Alfa Romeo trigger they were using. I heard the stage 2 trigger kits from Chiappa were pretty good. I like my handguns really big so they soak up the recoil for target shooting. I would normally be inclined to pickup the black 6" version but it looks like you can get a 4" version with both .357mag and 9mm cylinders. The ability to shoot 9mm in it really tickles my danglies. Is there any reason not to get the model with two cylinders?
Save up your money for a Mateba
>>28338977
I don't want a Mateba. I have enough guns that are no longer made and parts are hard to get.
That looks future as fuck

Nobody needs those assault knives. What we need is common sense knife control.
Hello /k/,
I have a UV-5R5 Baofeng radio due on Tuesday with a programming cable.
I heard someone mention something about CHIRP and programming threads, I didn't see anything in the sticky pertaining to radios. Any information you guys can provide to me that would be useful?
Chirp is fine, just make sure you install the drivers for your radio, I think they are available on youtube somewhere
Don't use channels other than FRS/GMRS. I would ideally recommend buying two radios so you can troubleshoot them and verify that you are broadcasting correctly.
If you live in a populated area, avoid unnecessarily keying the mic, just as a general precaution.
