What is the point of this thing? I understand the LCP being a micro pistol, and the lc9 is a good gun, but why would you deliberately choose the exact same gun in an inferior caliber?
For that matter, why EVER pick .380 in a gun that has a 9mm equivalent (Sig 238 vs 938, for example)
>>28365364
Women
Or rather the dumb faggots who buy them firearms
>>28365372
What do you think about bigger .380s like the beretta 84fs or cz 83?
LCP is slightly smaller. LC380 is literally the same gun as LC9 only chambered in .380.
Other than the mag capacity I literally see no reason in getting the LC380.
What is the best 10mm on the market? Especially in terms of how comfortable and controllable it is, as well as being able to hold up to the full-power 10mm.
The only good examples I can think of are the newer Delta Elites, or the Glock 20. Which of these two is easier to shoot? Any other good pistols out there?
In b4 special snowflake cartridge. You can't deny it is the largest practical auto loading cartridge, and serves an important niche. And I fucking want one.
No experience with colt, but the flock shoots fine, just feels like the frame is warping in your hand everytime you fire. I own a Kimber Eclipse II in 10mm. Got a tacti-cool compensator for it and the bitch shoots like a dream. Low recoil, easy target realignment, and accurate as all Fuck.
>>28365602
>Kimber
Rock Island sells an affordable 10mm 1911. Personally I would rather have the RIA TAC Ultra over the Delta, because it's not only ~400 dollars cheaper, the barrel is fully ramped and supported. You could also look at the STI Nitro 10 or the 10mm Sig P220.

Once a carrier has launched it's complement of aircraft and pilots, how long does it take for the carrier to construct additional aircraft and pilots?
>>28364894
Made me giggle.
>>28364894
As fast as you can train deck swabbers to pilot billion dollar aircraft
One turn to construct and they can launch on the next turn so long as the carrier is carrying less than three seaplanes, it also costs 22000 RESOURCE UNITS
Ended up agreeing to go to a gun range and realized I have never shot a gun before and barely know anything about guns. Any tips for beginners?
are you shooting a handgun or a long gun?
>>28364406
Long gun most likely a shotgun or hunting rifle.
>know basic safety rules
>bring the rifle to your eyes, not the other way around
>dont be a gay
Hey /k/
A couple of days ago I bought myself a px4 storm in full size and I must say I am extremely impressed with how it performs, how it feels and just generally with the firearm. I do not understand why this weapon is not talked more about, or even used by law enforcement; I mean sure the safety can be a little uncomfortable but it is easily replaceable with low profile ones.
>>28364307
personally I don't like the decocking aspect of the gun. I've owned one, shot it, liked it, but didn't like it enough to keep it.
>>28364370
It's not too bad once you get used to it, it might make racking the slide a little awkward at first but I would say overall this feels great to shoot and even have as an edc firearm
>>28364400
it even was part of my EDC for a while, just that it wasn't what I was wanting in a pistol after having more experience with it.
is there anything wrong with the tank they built for Indiana Jones and the last crusade?
We're it a WWI tank, no. It's a pre-WWII tank though, so pretty undergunned and underprotected compared to all but training tanks.
>>28364242
>>28364306
It looks oddly sexy.
I view it as a modified ww1 surplus tank used by a german expedition, not top of the line stuff.
>>28364242
This is obviously the Leman Russ battle tank, so nothing wrong with it

You know top actually makes some sense in densely populated areas, where people don't need personal vehicles to get around (shorter walking distances + public transport + business vehicles for bulk transport). It would save an awful lot of money, result in cleaner air, and promote energy independence.
That said, it would suck ass for people traveling through, and I bet serious carfags would get royally pissed.
Firearms don't get you to a workplace on time, neither is a car specifically designed to kill, injure or strike an object with high energies as the success of it's operation. A car killing or injuring something under the hands of a private citizen is a failure state. A weapon, firearm or otherwise, disabling or killing a "threat" EG: some poor bastard a nigga want to drop is a successful operation of said device in both private and public hands.
Learn what guns are for jeebus. Don't hit me with that "recreational shooting" shit either,...

It wouldn't though. Because Public Intoxication would shoot through the roof, socially unacceptable behavior would become commonplace in public vehicles and inevitably people would become sick of paying for people to move themselves around an area and work to defund it.
How bad does my Arsenal piss off /k/?
Also general fudd/no shame pics.

CVA Wolf. I like it.
Ok guys, poorfag here. I've always wanted one of these, has anyone owned one? I'm between getting one of these or trying a retro AR build.
>>28363781
No. Look at the lateboyscout's youtube channel. He got a slam fire off the bat and some minor parts breakages. No thanks. Rail is loose too.
Retro AR all day... you can assure it's not shit.
>>28363781
If you want an HK clone buy a PTR
>>28363818
>lateboyscout
Ha! I just got done watching that. I'm watching Sootch right now, he says he has had no issues.
>Retro AR
My only issue is that I like my rifles to have a bit of weight to them, I have a VZ2008(I did say I was a poorfag) and it feels like a toy. Do older AR's feel like toys?
>>28363826
Is it really worth the extra $300? Why do you think so?
Hey /k/, I want to build my own AR15 from scratch (always bought prebuilts and never really did much in the way of customizing) and I'd like to start from the base with an 80% lower. I have access for the next few months to the big bridgeport Milling machine and have used them for engineering projects in the past, so I feel comfortable with using it and having seen how-to's on the 80% nothing in it is beyond my abilities, but one thing I'd like to know is, how hard would this be to do without a jig? To me, the great thing about the 80% is the reduced price to build, but a $100-$250 jig kinda defeats the purpose (and I don't intend to build 20 of these to make up the price) so how hard would it be to do without one? The main cut down the middle for trigger group seems fine enough but what about the safety switch and pin holes? Is this doable without a jig?
Cont'
I guess what I'm asking is, how exact are the tolerances on the holes? As in, what's the play for distances? 0.001 mm? less/more? The machine can handle tolerances down to that but can differences in distances be handled by the finished weapon?
Yes, I've done it. Drill the holes undersize and ream them to the correct size first before milling the pocket.
>>28363763
Why not drill them to correct size in the first go? The Bridgeport can definitely handle the material. Not disagree just curious.
I'm fed up with their shitposting, let's invade those fucking australians
Can we do it Canadabros?
>>28363662
Why is it that Canada figured out how to put an adjustable stock on the M16? The US never figured it out.
>>28363740
the US never bothered, you mean
leave it to canadian autists to obsess over trivial details
>>28363662
You and what navy?
what do when aliums attack?
would Amraams be useless?
would nukes be useless against alium spacecraft?
You either hide in a ditch until they go away and/or bow the fuck down if they find you. There would be no feasible way to fight ET if they were intent on killing or conquering.

The most effective weapons are payback and pre-AOL level malware.
I am looking for a full list of restraints. Could anybody at least give me a BIG list or some sources where I could potentially find a full list? This could either be restraint devices or manual restraints (such as joint locks, arm bars, etc.).

I'm basically asking this so I can look for ways to escape all of them.
So I bought my first ever gun today from my gun store in town, but it kinda was a sucky experience. I bought a Ruger LC9 because of its sleek look, nice feel for my hands and the safety features. However I had to listen to a big talk by the clerk about how the single best safety is my mind and responsible use of a fire arm. I don't get it, these safeties with the loaded chamber sign and all were probably one of the better selling points for me as a person whose never even touched a gun before. I even was tempted by a Kel-tec PF9 which the clerk was suggesting, which I nearly...

I'd recommend you take a basic firearm safety course, anon.
>>28363264
Because a manual safety on a DA/SA or striker fired carry gun is just something else you have to do in order to fire the gun. If you are a safety sally and just pop paper for kicks and never plan to carry a handgun you are the person these overly safe handguns are marketed for.
>>28363292
I second this.. Strongly
Mistakes come from ignorance.
Just bought this not too long ago, What do?
Just got my stainless upper from PSA. Add to my stripped $55 lower for a sub $500 AR... Cheers
