Hey guys, have an idea on the S&W but not the Walther PP or Mauser .25ACP.
First: S&W Model 19-4. 99% to Unfired condition with original box and materials. Box is somewhat rough but complete. Not sure if grips are factory. My guess is $600-800 value.
Second: Walther PP .32ACP (7.65 on slide). Really excellent condition with no major wear or pitting. Appears to be an earlier one, guessing early 50s? No idea on value.
Third: Mouse gun marked Mauser WTP .25ACP. Very Excellent condition overall with a tiny circle of shallow pitting right side behind...

Here is another picture of the Mauser WTP I found online. My Uncle's is in way better condition.

If he sells any of them you better fucking buy them anon.

Oh I'd love that Walther. The Smith is super nice but I have a Colt Trooper Mk III and couldn't afford to own both.
So /k/ opinions on this gun?
Just buy a Glock instead of shitting around with blatant copies
Bump for help?
its pretty decent for what it is
Why do some guns have the handle on the right side? Wouldn't it be easier to have it all on the left so you could be able to cock the gun without having to flip or turn it at all?
Do they make AKs with the handle on the left side?
>>28363258
Majority of people are right-handed.
Gotta cut a hole for the bolt handle to connect to the bolt carrier. Easiest to make this hole on the same side or part of the ejection port, which you want away from the shooter.
I would image that's so the ejected shell doesn't hit your arm, but it could be for another reason

For AKs it's because Russian doctrine is to charge with primary hand, for easier retraining of conscripts who were used to bolt-action
War is hell.
Nope, shitty parents are hell. Who lets there preteen daughter play in a guard post?
Its like they dont care if she gets raped
>Simon Pegg gets to play with FALs and lolis and I don't
War is... well it's kinda wacky.
how much would it hurt to get hit with something that had a shaft but no tip?

Hey /k/. I'm from /tg/ and doing gun related things. And while I've being doing some fantasy things I also want to remain somewhat grounded to actual gun mechanics.
My current question relates to handguns and their actions. I understand, with revolvers, the difference between single, double and semi-auto actions. Single action you need to physically pull the hammer back in order for the trigger pull to release it. Double action pulls the hammer back for you when you pull the trigger. Semiauto uses the force of the shot to recock the gun so you have a lighter...

Sounds like obsessing over minutia to me. Why not have a standard semi-auto in 9mm as the default handgun and another option being a revolver in a much larger caliber.
>>28379618
Damage, magazine size, accuracy (if the system uses it).
Double Action and Single Action only refer to the length of trigger pull, a Double Action makes the trigger pull also cock the hammer while a single action must be cocked before pulling the trigger.
"Semi-Auto" in this case is an incorrect term technically, gained in the 1900s when the first magazine-fed pistols began showing up. To differentiate them from standard Revolvers people called handguns like the 1911 "Automatics"which shifted to "Semi-Automatic" later to further delineate between weapons with continuous fire.
Semi-Automatic does...

So, the SIG MCX can't stand up to even light weight abuse. Would not with stand military trials. Why do people buy these "Not ARs". They have no historical significance, they aren't interesting mechanically, they are just special snow flake guns that do nothing better than an AR-15 and just do things worse. I understand the 5.56 market can be kind of stale, but nobody wants these things.
>>28379127
>Sig Sauer
>customizable
>uses stanag mags
>literally 5 lbs unloaded
Good luck finding an AR worth a shit that light.
>>28379147
You know you can build an AR, right? You aren't restricted to the image you posted. Why would anyone want a gun that fails as much as this one days?
Video related https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LFCQVLsrnk
>new 5.56 rifle that comes out in the market that is marketed as NOT AN AR
>uses stanag mags or some ar feature that is a selling point
Fucking why?
If you were fighting in a war today and the opposing army suddenly started attacking you with this, what would you do?
I think surrender would be a great choice.
