checked the catalog and couldn't find one so qtddtot
what is this thing next to the rifle grenade? it was sold as a hand grenade but i don't recognize it.
>>28379157
a grenade, late WW2 era
>>28379272
from what country?
>>28379309
Doesn't look American, so probably not British either. French or Italian maybe
What are you guys doing for the /k/ube today?
>>28379138
Richfags will know what that mount is for.
>>28379132
Picked up a .22 conversion kit for my P229, and will go do some dryfire practice (with the 9mm slide on it) later.
Ain't gonna make it to the range today, the /k/ube will have to be satisfied with what I'm doing.
/k/ why does my cat try and eat tannerite, it literally sits by my stash trying to eat it
He seeks to gain it's power.
Shoot cat, post results
>>28379052
Have you ever tried eating tannerite yourself? it's delicious.
What does /k/ think of replicas? I always wanted a Springfield 1903 and its hard not to find a used one that isn't trash. The Gibbs 1903 might be a good alternative. Or am I a big dumb stupid head for thinking about it?
>>28379048
You are dumb. There are tons of them that are not trash. A Gibbs model will only depreciate in value too
>>28379048
>What does /k/ think of replicas?
So long as they're shootable copies that stay true to the design, I'm all for them.
>>28379048
disgusting
I just got back from the range and some guy was telling someone you have to clean your gun everyday wether you shoot it or not. That can't be true can it? Won't it mess up the gun. Should I have called him out on it because I started second guessing myself
No, that's fucking retarded. You don't even have to clean your gun every time you shoot it, but I do. I think cleaning is fun.
>>28378931
>That can't be true can it?
No, that's retarded.
Do you take your car through the car was every day too?
>>28378931
No. But you could clean it every time you shoot it depending on the gun.
Glocks? No. 1911's? Probably.
Should you clean your gun every day? Absolutely unnecessary. You might want to clean it every couple months or so if you don't use it, just to prevent rust and gunk etc. But even that's not completely necessary.
Can anyone help me find out what kind of dagger this is? Where it's style comes from, if it may be legitimate, and what the symbol on the blade is? I bought it from am antique store up in Michigan, if it helps.
Up close shot of the symbol.

it's a cheap wannabe janbiya
Hey /k/ i have a simple question.
AR-10 or FAL?
I need a battle rifle that I can use for hunting if need be. Im not biased for or against either of them, i just want your opinions.
>>28378745
If you want the leading edge in modularity, AR10
If you have the urge to wear short shorts and operate innnabush, FAL.
>>28378745
I'd be willing to bet the AR10 would serve you better for hunting. Little lighter, and the rails are nice for optics.
And IIRC it's cheaper
>>28378758
>>28378760
Thanks guys. How does the reliability of the two compare? Ive heard that FALs are very reliable. And i know that gas piston ARs are also very reliable
Is there any reason I shouldn't buy a FiveseveN? (Cost not being a factor, I can pay for it)
If money isn't a problem you should buy an SBR p90 instead
Better question is to figure out the things the FN has in its favor... Like... Maybe not blowing up...
>>28378531
There's little practical utility for it. The cartridge only has a couple of loads available and isn't for novice reloaders.
If you don't mind it being a range toy or talking piece, then it's fine. But since AP ammo is hard to get/expensive (and of very limited utility to most civilians anyways) there isn't much use for the gun.
Does anybody have a real /knife/ collection on /k/ besides me? This is a small sample of what I have, AMA.
From L-R (Top to Bottom)
1. Spyderco Sage 2
2.Spyderco H1 Pacific Salt
3. Spyderco M390 Carbon Fiber Military
4.Old school Opinel (no ring lock)
5. Kabar USMC
6. Spyderco Domino
7. Benchmade limited edition 556, M390 # 172/200
8. Benchmade 710 M390-2
9. Benchmade 51 Balisong
This is just a sample of what was close to me. Feel free to ask for more /knife/ porn, I probably have it.
< INB4 do you use these
All of my blades are users. I just sharpened up the serrated Pacific Salt tonight, push cuts phone book paper.
Why did you get the salt?
>>28364777
My father is retired and owns a cabin cruiser boat (for those that care), he lives on it. I bought the Pacific Salt many years ago for Xmas for him as he cruised off...
...
Most online advice said to get an H1 (alloy) blade, preferably serrated blade. He beat this knife up for a year, said he used mostly the chisel ground tip. The serrations were a hindrance, I gave him a few more "boat knives".
A few years ago he gave it back to me when I visited him in the San Juan islands. I...

It's like they think AR tripfags dont use their guns for anything at all.
>>28378389
Hint trip fags don't fire their AR's. They just take pictures of them.
Would it be possible to make a break action revolver with different sized barrels to chamber different sized rounds?
>shoot
>break
>reload or switch barrels
>repeat
Pic kinda relate?
>>28378350
>is _______ possible
yes, it is, think of a way to do it
Yes- it would look a bit like the Pistola Con Caricato, just with different sized barrels and chambers.
>>28378350
Yes. It would be easier to just swap barrels and cylinders though.
War has changed.
It's no longer about nations, ideologies, or ethnicity. It's an endless series of proxy battles, fought by mercenaries and machines.
War--and it's consumption of life--has become a well-oiled machine.
War has changed.
ID-tagged soldiers carry ID-tagged weapons, use ID-tagged gear. Nanomachines inside their bodies enhance and regulate their abilities.
Genetic control, information control, emotion control, battlefield control…everything is monitored and kept under control.
War…has changed.

JGSDF are fucking cool, goddamn
What is /k/'s opinion on butterfly knives?
>pic related, my 2 butterfly knives
>MFW b& in Britain
>>28378050
Bottom one looks like crap quality
Top one looks weird because of pocketclip
So what are those brand / model
Also I like balisongs but they are not legal in my country so its not worth hunting the good quality ones
instead I rather get legal folders/fixed
Muh edc, good enough of a knife for whatever daily tasks I might need it for and an excellent stress reliever
>>28378413
>not legal in my country
I've never understood this, balis must be just about the worst type of knife you could have if you're looking to stab someone
Can we get a tactical or custom handgun thread going.
>>28377926
Already a few USP threads, use the catalog

Can you not read?
Do you think America would let another first world country buy some of their strategic bombers?
>>28377706
No one else needs to circle the globe to drop bombs, so probably not.
>>28377706
>UK
Got rid of their own strat bombers, why would they want new ones? And second hand ones...
>France
They count on their missiles.
>Germany

>Japan

>Taiwan
Banned from buying "offensive" weapons by Clinton or Bush number 1.
>Is there anyone else left?
They dont need it.
