I got a pelican case on sale, apparently was meant for cameras but it had the pluck and pull foam in it. Anyway I feel like I messed up and didn't leave enough foam in between. Post pelicans, or other cool cases
>>28391757
That looks cool as fuck. I would totally do that if I had a safe or lockbox to put that in.
two rows of foam is preferable, you'll probably have pieces coming out earlier than normal as you remove guns and try to put them back in. just be super gentle with it and it'll be ok. next time map it out a little better.
I have 1 the size of a shoe box to carry my funs when I fly but thats about it. You can buy new foam for pretty cheap, I went full autist and fucked mine up in about 5 minutes of owning it.
Why isn't everything in the US Navy, bigger than or equal to a destroy, nuclear powered by now?
Are the gains in speed, endurance, and space for other things, not worth?
Also, why not bring back 16 inch guns with modern fire control?
No, too much cost for negligible gain.
They tried with nuclear cruisers in the 70's and 80's and discovered it wasn't worth it.
>>28390278
Again, too much cost for no gain.
>>28390278
1. no one knows how to make those guns anymore.
2. guided weapons do it better and cheaper
So my buddy equiped himself with a Nerf Rotofury, so I need something to defend myself. I'm looking for something that says " you call that a nerf?" and displays maximum power level.
What would you recommend /k/ ?

GET THE FUCK OUT!

Is there a anti-personal version of ATGM like FAGOT, MILAN or TOW ?
That video of ragheads trying to kill a platoon with a FAGOT made me wonder
https://www.funker530.com/platoon-hit-by-anti-tank-guided-missile/
>>28401430
yes. there's a thermaboric warhead for some slav missile
It's a market currently in development, the two most interesting weapons are the Mini-SPIKE which is a version of the SPIKE missile intended for anti-personnel use and the Raytheon Pike missile which is a 40mm laser-guided missile intended to be launched from an underbarrel grenade launcher.
>>28401448
Only know of RPG and SHMEL shooting thermobaric stuff
Tl;Dr what is the best overall intermediate rifle cartidge
I know this may be beating a dead horse and the answer isn't black and white but which is the most effective round overall and with what type of rifle for best chances of killing someone in the fewest rounds possible. Of course with good shot placement
5.8x42mm DBP87
>>28401123
With good shot placement they will all kill someone dead. That is why militaries around the world use them.
>>28401123
7.62x39.
-big, heavy round
-good penetration
-works great out of barrels of all lengths
-cheap
you can use hollow point ammo for better flesh - damage, and good muzzle brake eliminates the already minor recoil.

A1 upper
On an A2 lower
Its supposed to be a frankengun

What if I don't have any tisms?
>>28400233

> frankengun
That hasn't lined up on any AR I've ever owned, whether purchased or build. They shoot and I can hit the target, that's all that matters to me.
Commencing a dump of some infographics on the formations of the modern Russian army.
Once I'm done I have some naval ones too
Starting with a Tank battalion.
Mech Brigade
Engineer Battalion
Artillery reconnaissance brigade
stay assblasted

Isn't this the one that jammed to hell the last time he tried to shoot it? Also most 3 gun ARs shoot faster and flatter without all the extra weight...

Whatever happened to big-bore rimfire cartridges, and why haven't we resurrected them so our Bong brethren can enjoy some non-.22lr semi-auto fun?
Turns out it sucks
>>28399304
Pic related is what OP was shot out of, btw.
>>28399304
We can't have semi-autos except for .22 rimfires.
Sup /k/, Califaggoot here, (yes it does hurt to live).
Been looking for a new rifle in 7.62x39 and narrowed it down to Cz. 527 and Mini 30, both are a bit pricey. CZ seems to be cheaper but semi auto seems to be more 'fun'.
I already have a 10/22 and she is fun as hell, but think I should get another gun.
What do?
Any suggestions? I guess thread can be about purchase discussion too if you have anything in mind.
>>28399244
Read a lot of stories of the Mini-30 having an abnormal number of light primer strikes when using the cheap stuff.
No idea about the CZ, except that they have a reputation for accuracy.
>>28399252
I heard CZ can eat any ammo up while Mini30 may be a bit picky if go near the cheap stuff too.
Not sure if thats old or fairy new.
>>28399244
Why not get an AR like a normal human bean? Even if you need to get the ARES SCR lower.
>Protip u can't
>>28398757
On a good day it's better, on a baad day it's on par.
That's doesn't look like a PKM, OP.
Browning M2HB
Although the MG 42 is fucking awesome too
Is there even a particular AR15 brand parts that actually won't break in half and would actually hold up together and not just a range toy?
I just want to know what parts to get that won't break down or jam up or will require me to pay again and replace the part after 6000 rounds for example
>>28398630
AK47
Just don't be a nigger and don't buy bargain bin BCGs and other essential parts because poorshits on /k/ told you they're "just as good". There, done.

so what does /k/ think of the tavor?
Not bad for a bullpup
Still not the best a bullpup could be
>>28396631
sounds about right, what's your favorite?
>>28396409
>so what does /k/ think of the tavor?
Many widely varying things, most of them conflicting.
