There's a movie about war in Chechnya called "Purgatory" and the main evil Chechen in the movie was smocking the cigs of this brand but the green ones.

Sobranie Cocktails come in green, red, pink, yellow and teal.
They're fucking fantastic. Sobranie Blacks are are more 'hard' cigarette with a harder hit but the cocktails are just so enjoyable to smoke that I don't care if I'm smoking a pink one.

Good man.
I will be moving to Mississippi at the start of April. I have never owned a gun before (Massachusetts fag currently). Are the gun laws in MS really that relaxed could I really just want into a store and buy a rifle with no license? Please give me some info on this.

>could I really just want into a store and buy a rifle with no license?
Yep

Yeah I know I was just wondering if any MS fags could contribute any info or tell me what the state is like in general
So, my girlfriend is stressing about what to get me as a 21st present, I keep saying I don't really mind, but she wont take no for an answer and is taking it very seriously
Problem is, I dont actually know myself
what's a good /k/ related gift idea under $200US?
hard mode, I live in Australia so it cant be an actual gun..otherwise I would have gone halves in an engraved 1911 or something
Ammo
But if you're a no-guns,why can't you but the money toward a rifle like a SMLE?
Good luck getting any gun in here for $200 anyway.
As far as /k/ related stuff goes all you can really choose from is innawoods/milsurp stuff or maybe some kind of knife.
>>28396158
really nice scotch or some other alcohol you can share with your girl so she can destress about it, you can have a great dinner with her, and have a 21st to remember. it doesn't have to be about guns, but a gun-shaped bottle of vodka is a thing...
There is no way Australia can have a serious talk on firearms if most people believe the ban on fireworks is a good thing
>>28396047
Letting them off yourself is a million times more enjoyable than watching some shitty public display. Fucking Territory Day is the best day of the year.
>>28396047
>New Year celebrations were ruined by illegal fireworks
If fireworks ruined New Years then they wouldn't be shooting them off.
Checkmate.
>>28396047
Hey, at least clems cats were not spooped.
Could small unit tactics have been used on a much larger scale by the time of the civil war?
I would think that if you invested in junior decentralized leadership and NCOs that the technology would allow for the use of modern small unit tactics.
I feel like the rifled muskets would have allowed small units to fend off cavalry, but I'm no expert, so perhaps you need automatic weapons to effectively defeat a mounted charge.
Anyway just curious if anyone else had some opinions on the matter.
Bump for interest
>>28396008
which is better against cavalry, rifles or bayonets?
>>28396714
Bayonets, but you need to be in formation to effectively fight off a cavalry charge with them.
Which is why I'm going to have to say No to OP's question.
More bullets = less problems

But really, do you use gun locks, /k/? Or at the least do you treat them as a novelty and use them for other things?
>>28395669
Are you me? I just refound the lock that came with my GSR. I'm probably going to end up using it on my cases when going to the range.

Is Mcnigg out there in the snow in a white bedsheet ready to put rounds downrange into statism enforcement agents as they call him "The Black Death"?
Where were you when the first shots of the second revolutionary war were fired in Oregon?
Watching it on 4chan. Where else would I be on a Saturday night?
I am not sure what I would do if some rather large nosed individuals tried to scam me out of my families land using bully tactics enforced by federal agents who seem to work for the highest bidder.

he lookin at dat ass in the mossy oak.
Hey /k/, my birthday's coming up and I wanted to get myself something special. I was wanting a good all around handgun for bedside duty. While I already have various guns which I rotate around, I want one that's better than what I have and is an all around ideal handgun. For reference here is my current list of guns which I use-
* Beretta 92fs 9mm
* Glock 22 Gen 4 .40 S&W
* Springfield Mil-Spec 1911 .45
* Ruger GP100 3 inch .357
So hit me up with suggestions. Budget is around $1300, and I'm open to anything besides a Glock as I already have...

Hey /k/,
I've been itching to get a Makarov for a long time. My guns aren't safe queens, so I intend to carry it when I don't feel like carrying my current daily.
It's up between a P64 Radom and a CZ-82 (if i can find one.)
My biggest concern with the Makarovs is the finish. I'm a winter person, so when it comes to summer, I sweat a good amount. I've read mixed responses online and say that the finish picks up rust easily. If that is the case, I'd rather avoid the Makarov and go for something else.
>>28395497
If you keep it properly lined it won't be a problem. That being said, there is nothing sexier than a gun with wear on it.

Get a second hand soviet one with a nice wooden grip and oil it up good. Those babies can take a beating.
Was going to post in AR general, but they're epeen measuring their 'my ar is better than your ar' arguments.
What are my inexpensive-moderately priced options for magnified optics? I'm thinking a basic 1-4x for an AR carbine.
I do have a fixed front sight, is that going to screw with my scope? I've got a dremel somewhere that could take care of it.
>>28395485
Vortex Viper with turret caps
The front sight will probably be visible at lower magnification, but may not be when zoomed in. You can also mount the scope a little higher to look over the front sight post.
I'd rather replace the barrel, or build a 2nd upper, before I'd dremel a pinned gas block. I did once replace a pinned front sight with a clamp-on gas block, but only because the pins weren't reamed too deep into the barrel. I kept the front sight in the event I ever want to switch...

>>28395485
ya. Maybe just leave this upper as a red dot-irons and then get a 1-4 with a flat top instead. Makes sense. maybe go with a longer barrel and free float it too.
what about 3-9's? Anything that's good in the cheaper range for that?
>>28395485
Look into Primary Arms or Vortex. Both will serve you well.
What handgun is the most reliable and has the most affordable magazines
The gun has to cost between 400 to 800 dollars
I'm leaning more towards cost of the gun and cost of the magazines than the most reliable

What is the best battle rifle and why is it the G3?
>cheaper than FAiL
>more accurate
>dat HK slap
>better aftermarket
>won't lose zero from a bump like an M14
>cheap mags
>longer sight radius than FAiL
only downside is non-reloadable but who cares
