Hey /k/. I am gonna go to a range and I need tips on range etiquette. Can you guys make me look like something other than a total retard?
>>28419992
Don't be retarded and you'll be good.
>How?
Ask yourself if what you're doing is retarded
>Yes?
Stop doing it
>No?
Continue.
I hope this has been helpful and remember have fun and be safe.
>>28419992
literally never point the gun anywhere except downrange
don't even tilt it slightly away
if u r noob learn proper hand-grip for basic stuff like AR and handguns
>>28419992
It's considered good luck to pelt the shooter to your right with hot brass out of your beat-to-hell wasr. Also everyone will be very appreciative if collect their brass while they're shooting and take it home with you, so you have a way to remember your first time.
New acquisition. Bersa Firestorm .380 acp. Thoughts /k/?
>>28419896
Ya did good OP.
Load er up with hollows and your golden.
>>28419896
Cheap piece of shit. Save your money and get something not shit, pleb.

Anyone go to the Knoxville Gun Show today? Any finds? Any stories? Anyone else drunk on a Sunday night?
Gun Show Thread
>>28419578
i remember when i was young and kept club stamps on to show off
Asheville had a show this weekend as well. Went to that. Typical fudds, trailer trash, ex-mil, and land whales. Everyone stocked with glocks, Rugers and overpriced .22
I haven't regretting going to a gun show in probably a decade or so. They usually cost like $5 or so to get in and that's usually all the money I ever feel like spending at one. Aside from some jerky from some old hillbilly every now and then.
Prove to me that r.i.p. ammo isn't the best ammo on the market
Works about as well as black people do
>>28419467
rip ammo is expensive.
if your company really wanted to increase sales on your ammo you would lower the price
>>28419467
Burden's on you to prove it is. Why should I spend my shekels do test something that's already known to be shit?
I'm looking to find an apprenticeship to a local gunsmith. Besides common fucking courtesy, what would help me convince them I'm worth the time? And is there anything I would need beforehand, IE paperwork/driver's license/etc, presuming this is in South Carolina?
> Pic unrelated.
Bump, please.
Just one more time?
you could always spend a huge chunk of cash, drive to Georgia for a bit and come out with a lot of knowledge and precision rifle from Robert Gradous
So I'm posting screen caps and humor. I am requesting a pic for my dad, OPs dad in said pic got into shotguns, hilarity ensues.
All Hail the Murdercube.

Gonna build a AR-10 in 308 win. I need cheap suppliers for upper parts. Already have a lower with parts and buffer kit.
Anyone know where to get the PRS cheap?
>>28418946
I'm doing the same. Aero Precision uppers and BCGs seem good. Black Hole Weaponry makes a damn good barrel. J.L. Billet makes good light handguards. Gas blocks are pretty similar unless you want adjustable, then SLR is pretty advantageous.
What are your goals for the rifle?
>>28418946
>PRS
>cheap
Gunbroker is probably your best bet
Is it dumb to tape your magazines together this way?
>>28418899
Everything about that picture is dumb.
>>28418899
I'm sure magpul has some $12 clip they'll sell you to replace the $.06 worth of duct tape you'd otherwise use.
>>28418899
For a fixed position of heavy fighting... no...
It would be extremely heavy and cumbersome on the move though. Some soldiers in Vietnam had 5 magazines tapped together simply because the only reason they would leave their position is if they were leaving in a body bag.
So heres the deal, im an ausfag who is moving to the states within the next couple of months on a confirmed residency
The bad news is at this stage its confirmed for California for until im a citizen in 5 years and can move
I know california is shit tier compared to america, but its still god tier compared to australian law so its a stepping stone in my opinion
What i want to know is are there any non scalping gun stores close to LA county? Im not expecting great prices, but at least something thats only slightly more than other states
Keeping in...

>non scalping
>california
pick 1
this isnt limited to guns its everything
its not the worst state but its up there on taking your money
though compared to aus you can still get cheap steelcased 223 for under 30 cents easily
>>28418880
How did you confirm your residency?
Another asufag here looking to jump ship over the the states and enlist.
Biggest pain here is needing 2 different proof of residency with address on it
Bank statement and utility bill work
Noguns here. /k/ I need adivce about pellet guns. My mum wont let me have guns in the house, there are no shooting ranges in the city where I live and I wont have enough money to move out on my own for a few more years. However I really want to start learning how to shoot and I figured that a good way to do that would be to get a pellet/BB/airsoft gun to practice with until the day I'm able to get my hands on the real thing. According to my understanding pellet guns are better than BB or airsoft one because they kick when you fire them, although less powerfully than real ones.
What I need advice on is what rifle and pistol to buy. (I would like to learn how to shoot both) I've been advised to stay away from cheap, bargain stuff and I am willing to pay for quality. I reckon I can go as high as $400 Canadian, though if there's a gun out there for less that's just as good I would prefer that. Also it needs to have a muzzle velocity of less than 500FPS because I live in Canada and the law is that if the muzzle velocity is over 500FPS then its put in the same catagory as a real gun. So not only would I need a license to buy one but I wouldn't be able to take it into the woods near my house to practice.
As for pistols I was thinking of getting either an Umarex Peacemaker, a replica of the Colt Single Action Army, or the Tangfolio Witness, a replica of the Colt 1911. Even though they fire BBs insteal of pellets because I heard that the kick factor doesn't matter as much when it come to pistol practice. (though if someone can point me towards something that would be far better for practice I'd go for that instead) However when it comes to pellet rifles nothing has lept out at me as a strong canidate so I have no clue what to buy. I did see a Daisy 1938 Red Ryder BB Rifle but its a BB gun so I wasn't sure if it would be suitable for rifle practice.
Is there anyone out there who can suggest a good rifle and or pistol to me so I can start learning how to shoot?

I'm going to guess this is stupid pasta and you should just kill yourself

I present to /k/, the Liberator drone. Capable of breaking the sound barrier at sea level, full thrust vectoring, computer controlled, and carrying a complement of 68 AGM-114 Hellfires, this thing is death to any russian tank that dares to cross into Ukraine.

What mods are you using for the facilities?
So Seymour Hersh just broke a story on the Obama admin's strategy in Syria and makes the claim the the Joint Chiefs opposed Obama's work with Turkey to aid the rebels because they were helping ISIS and JAN.
He says they pentagon, opposing the president's orders, circumvented the administration and passed intelligence on to countries with the understanding that it would be shared with Assad's regime. They also apparently complied with programs in arming the "moderate rebels" but did so with "the most obsolete weapons in our arsenal"...

Why are you taking that senile old ultraleftist fart seriously?
Strongly doubt. I mean, CMP barely sells Carbines anymore, those stocks are surely all but depleted by now. To say nothing of the availability of .30 in Syria.
"the most obsolete weapons in our arsenal"
>mfw the pentagon gave the Syrians flintlock muskets
/k/ can you give me advice:
>be me graduated high school last year, got pretty good marks
>poor as fuck
>want to join army

Combat engineering
Picture considerably more interesting than post.
>be me graduated high school last year, got pretty good marks
>2bh I'm not interested in anything specific, but I know how to do well in school, it really isn't that hard for me.
if you're good at school, don't join the army seriously. you have a free ride, why would you want to join the army?

pretty ugly senpai
What is the best sbr suppressor host for a centerfire cartridge?
current thoughts
gas operated
DI- dirty hot receiver
Piston- hot handguard, extra noise from early venting of gas
Recoil operated
long recoil- sloppier than piston, hot handguard, gases not sealed well
roller lock - ammo sensitive
tilt block-same as roller
blowback
delayed blowback- unsure if it could handle supersonic rounds as well, ammo sensitive, limited bullet weight possible
But specifically which do you think is the best?
boobs
Also long recoil- barrel moves -- booster might be needed
AR-15 with an adjustable gas block
