I wanna see the effects of the 5.56's impact on the human body. videos, gif, pics whatever. Is it a man stopper or just a meme?
Removed many coyotes with this round, many deer and ground hog, I've seen it chew through car doors and mild steel. Look man...it gets the job done.
Just a meme. It was designed to wound, not kill.

Ok so we have a thread about favourite manufacturers, how about one on guns or manufacturers you've personally had a problem with?
No "my uncle's Kimber ___" or "My friend's SIG ____"; what issues have you personally had?
I've only had ~10 guns and never had a problem with any of them, so I can't contribute here. Still I'd love to hear your stories.

Hello friends. Are you up for another instance?
Rules are the same as last time, you'll have 3+ options to choose from in each block, if I do not allow a custom answer for the block do not give one. Majority vote decides on what we do. /k/ plays as a collective for one character.

OR
Do I buy a sig p226
What would you do
>>28621221
I've shot the p320 in 9mm and I loved it. It's in my near future. I say p320.
>>28621310
Thats where I'm leaning so far. But I recently shot a 226 and it had me second guessing.
>>28621221
I'd vote 226

I live in cucked NYC, and therefore can't have a gun, a locking/sizable knife, or any other equalizing weapon.
What is the most effective weapon I CAN have?
sorry if this is a duplicat - couldn't find a relevant thread in the catalog
>>28620529
Your legs so you can run your fat ass out of Jew York.
>>28620529
learn a martial art so you can register your hands as lethal weapons
Take a plastic grocery bag, put a heavy jar in it. Maybe double bag for extra strength or use a cloth re-usable bag.
Has anyone ever used the Civilian Marksmanship Program to purchase a firearm? I am looking to get a M1 Garand. I'm trying to decide if it is worth the 5 hour drive to the store or just to order one through the mail. Also general military surplus rifle thread.
I would love to buy a great of these

Do the paperwork, pay, wait 3months
Vs driving 5 hours, doing the paperwork, paying and shooting the next day.
Depends on how much you like to drive imo.
Make sure you have everything you need to prove eligibility prior to leaving your house, or you will waste 11 hours of your time
Since there isn't one in the catalog, lets have a shotgun thread.
What have you been shooting recently?
What shotguns have you handled that you liked least?
Do shells with "flight control" wadding benefit from a choke?
And other topics.

Why are these cute little shits so damn expensive?
Got this bad boy for $100. Marlin goose gun bolt action 12ga. It's a load of fun.
I'm slowly building my Mossberg 835 into a retarded 590a1. When I got it, the barrel factory vent rib barrel was chopped a little short, it had a Mossberg factory PG on it, and it was spray painted black. Literally someone just sprayed the whole thing black with no disassembly or taping or anything.
I removed the finish and painted the receiver and mag tube in automotive epoxy paint. It looks like shit and I may have it cerakoted some day.
I've got a 26" vent rib barrel for hunting and an 18" heavy barrel from a 590a1 for defensive use. I've...

How would you clear and secure a building like this? Brainstorming thread.
> try to secure elevators or avoid them?
> how and where to you establish secure areas
> evacuation of non combatants
> cut power/water or leave it on so you can use it too
> medevac and resupply. Maybe knock out a window and install a temporary crane down the side of the building?

>5.45x39
Why the fuck would that exist?
5.45 in AR mags?
The fuck?
Why do ARfags want direct impingement over a piston setup, assuming the piston setup is quality.
Do ARfags just enjoy eating where they shit? Are these the type of people who build kitchens in their bathrooms?
>mfw I own a piston AR
>mfw shit threads like this
1/10
>>28617295
So you're saying most ARfags would prefer a piston?
From what I've learned most would prefer direct impingement.
>>28617282
Other than the shitty anology, there is nothing wrong with DI. It can be just as reliable as any other setup as long as the recoil spring is strong enough to push through the carbon buildup.
"shitting where it eats" is not valid since firearms can't get diseases or infections.
