What is your "grail" in terms of a firearm that you really want, but may never own, or plan to own someday but couldn't buy in the foreseeable future?
For me, it's a <10,000 serial number Colt Government Model in 99%-100% condition with high polish bluing and fire blue small parts.
Runners up are an original German Sig P210, an HK P7, and of course a full auto AR 15.
>Hard mode: Try to only limit yourselves to guns that you could feasibly buy (i.e, no full auto P90 or Glock 18).

I wish to own an FNC one day.

>got a letter from a state representative (courtesy of Missouri Firearms Coalition) about how he's getting signatures signatures on a petition to support getting constitutional carry passed in Missouri
God I hope it passes, fuck our governor if they veto it.
Anyone else possibly going to get constitutional carry in their state? Anyone from a state that already has it and want to talk about it?

We need a map like this but for Suppressors.
You awake to the sound of tinkling glass in the kitchen. You have a chest next to your bed with a 16 inch barreled intermediate cartridge rifle, a pistol in a service cartridge (9mm/.40/.45), and a pistol grip 410 gauge shotgun.
Which do you choose and why? Every second counts, as you hear the last shards of glass fall through.
I choose the chest.
Why?
Because all the guns are in it and it gives me the advantage of surprise. I lock myself in the chest. The home intruder sees the chest, comes up to it, opens it and gets a face full of 410 and 45 as I dual wield both the shotgun and pistol.
If the memes are correct, 9mm to cripple that bastard.

Today we're going to be discussing proper disassembly, maintenance, and preventive care for the CZ 75(b) series.
We will cover all aspects of proper procedures and care.
First things first:
Verify the gun you're about to work on:

Yup. That's a CZ 75b.

SAFETY.

So I was watching some porn the other day and I had my Shield next to me. I thought it would be funny to compare the length of my penis to the slide of my Shield.
Turns out that it is the exact same length as my Shield. I don't really know how to feel about this since I have never measured my penis.
Has anybody ever done something similar?
yes, except with a Mosin
>>28686322
I know this thread will probably be deleted, but I once measured my penis next to my Glock 17 slide and it was slightly longer.

Uhhh... so what was the result?

Hello /k/ommandos! Sorry if this question has been asked a bunch before...
I'm in the mood for a home defense shotgun and I'm thinking I want a Mossberg 5** Tactical in 12ga. I like the appearance of it, it seems like a solid comfortable weapon and reliable for dealing with the chimpocalypse.
My question is, what is the difference I'm going to see between the Mossberg 500 Tactical, the 590 Tactical and the 590A1 Tactical?
Best as I can tell, component makeup.
Am I as a regular non /k/ommando consumer going to notice a realistic difference between these three worth the extra cost? Again, home defense and standard range target shooting for fun.
Suggestions?
Just get a 500 6 or 8 shot and buy an aftermarket aluminum trigger guard. You won't need the heavy barrel.
>>28684822
I have the 590 and it is a great scatter gun. Got it for 250 with the Knox stock from an old guy that bought it to hunt but couldn't handle 12ga anymore.(Bought it, he ran 1 tube through on a factory stock, one tube with the Knox) The fit is loose (as it should be on a Mossberg), I like the heat shield for aesthetics. I can highly recommend the stock as well if you plan on feeding it a lot of 3".
Benelli M4 with an ATI stock to make it look like a scary assault weapon

Not like a cold reboot, but that's pretty much what it accomplishes.
>Anti-personnel mine only explodes when you step off of it.
Some do, some don't, depending on the model.
>Rack the slide after having held someone at gunpoint for minutes.
Cuz they're a fag and didn't have a round chambered beforehand, but it's for the intimidation factor.

guys, tell me again why .40 sucks so bad. i forgot.
>>28684215
Shitty compromise meme caliber
Snappier than 9mm without being much more powerful or lethal, and offering reduced capacity.
truth is people can't handle the truth, true words yo
people suck at shooting so they want to shoot 9mm, however they forget that besides shot placement penetration is the 2nd most important thing. .40 can out penetrate 9mm by a mile and i fucked your mom

5 years ago, myself and two friends took 6 mannequins to a unmanned range in MO. In short eventually the LLE showed up (podunk town) and all of us got tickets for failure to adhere to conservation rules. Failure to use paper targets only. We all had court dates for it, and we plead guilty since he witnessed us blasting them.
So now for every job I apply to I have to explain why I have a class B misdemeanor.
tl;dr
Shot mannequins at a range and got caught, now I have a Class B misdemeanor. How bad exactly did I fuck up /k/?
Should've researched the rules of the range instead of assuming you could shoot whatever you wanted there. A simple phone call probably would have sufficed.

Faggot. Even if there's almost no chance to get off free, it's your duty as an American to force the system to spend $30K for the $3K you spent on a lawyer.
Even outside of this specific scenario,

>not shutting the fuck up and waiting for a lawyer's instructions

What is your most prized gun? What makes it so special to you? When did you get it?
For me, it's my Marlin Model 1895 GS. I mean, look at it. It's beautiful. She's an expensive girl to feed, but she is well worth the price. Nabbed it in October.
my Mosin M44.
A bit boring choice perhaps, but dat fireball & kick...man! Everyone who's gotten to try it calls it a "flame thrower" now.
Plus it's built like a tank.
My Mauser Model 71. All matching, no import marks, good condition, and still fires perfectly (with lighter loads of course).
>What is your most prized gun?
Probably my pre-Norinco Chinese AK
>What makes it so special to you?
On the technical side:
It is only one of only about a thousand rifles imported by it's importer, and these about a thousand rifles are some of the only AKs in the US actually marked on the receiver as an AK47 and not some sort of made up sporter model designation.
On the personal side:
It belonged to my stepdad and it was the gun I learned to shoot on when I was like 9 or 10. I have know idea...
