Moa and Yui have a bright future in Japan. Su could probably be even bigger in Japan if she went solo and sang mature pop music like Utada Hikaru or Yui(not Mizuno for all the fags that only come to /jp/ for this thread). She might even have a future in the US after BM but that all depends on how good her English gets.
I don't want to be too harsh on Ayami's staff/Amuse because they have been very supportive and based her music off what Ayami wants to sing. That wasn't the problem. Some people said it's a part of it but her music is a lot better than the average popular idol. But they really shit the bed on her presentation. They made her look so unappealing. It's a shame because usually Amuse does an amazing job with their artists. Also being a solo idol today is really hard and kind of a dead thing.
I cringe anytime they say in an interview that their favorite band is Metallica.

Yes, "I'm easy breezy and japanesey" was literally the chorus of the lead single from her US debut album. The album was extremely cringeworthy and it flopped so hard it caused delays on all Shinkansen lines as the seismic stations picked it up.

There are some rare instances she does some vibrato. I don't think she plans it but it just happens and it always sounds amazing. I heard a little of her english songs and saw a performance on a morning show and it wasn't very good. She completely changed her style and seemed to try being an urban artist. Very strange. Jhene Aiko picked up that pace but then again she's mixed.
The thing is if Su got the opportunity to sign a US deal for an English record, she has little agency now, she would be at the whims of American producers which is a scary thought. Utada had a lot of control in Japan and look what happened to her. She was re-branded. But who knows, maybe she was happy with it or she wanted it. I think whatever Su does in the future she needs to have Koba as her manager no matter what people think of him. She strikes me as someone who is easy to take advantage of and too polite to say no.

Yea, her dad was a studio producer or something and her mom was a record breaking chart topping enka singer(side note, she was caught with a bunch of money and busted by the DEA in 2006 with $400,000, later dismissed and jumped from a 13th floor balcony to her death in 2013). Hikaru was a singer-songwriter from the beginning which is what Su always wanted to be. It must hurt her every time her kohais mention in interviews that they have a writing credit from the first album and she doesn't yet.
She can learn but honestly outside the stage that seems to be coming along very slowly, although some people who have interviewed them said she was very well trained in talking to them.

Ohmura is probably the most known since he was already playing in like 4 different metal bands at the time and his own solo band. BOH had played in a couple of Hostcore pop-rock bands.
