There isn't anything pretentious about it desu. The only thing I can think you might have said that about is her talking about the "Su-metal" character thing.
It's a common thing for performers to have personas they drop into for shows/media. In Japan, Hitoshi Matsumoto coined the phrase "hyoi-geinin" which describes an entertainer who takes on a completely different character on and off screen. This is exactly what Su does, the cool and mature Su-metal on stage and in babymetal media appearances and the regular Su you occasionally see now and more so back in the SG days.
The main theme is about how hard she tries and worries about being able to live up to the expectations of babymetal and how she feels they have improved and grown over the years, and how much she enjoys performing.
Don't even care if bait, Su is very grounded beneath all the OTFGK memery.
