Hey /jp/, I haven't been following Touhou doujinshis for about 5 years. What are some of the classics not to be missed from this period? Also a thread for non-h, story focused Touhou doujinshis I guess.
I've read things like 蘇我屠自古は語らない just because of the epic art but not a fan of the dragging story. Though the Wind Cries is probably the last one of this kind that I've read aside from that.
It's a little past 5 years, but really the best one is still My Sweet Hakutaku.
Are there any non-H doujins that aren't just thinly-veiled shipping wankery?

I remember the Omoito serie from Mori no Mushi, were Hourai becomes sentient and wants to show his love to alice, but everthing goes to hell after Shangai also becomes sentient.

looks like not many people came up with anything so either /jp/ don't read these much or the scene for scanning non-H doujins is just not active. If no luck here at least the two ongoing official mangas are really nice.
I know for a fact that every major event there is a sizable portion of non-H doujin circles. Granted many of those will be fluff and shipping.

If it's any consolation, cis is still putting out Touhou. Only doujinshi, though, including a LoLK book. Kancolle just takes up their attention otherwise.

To be fair, some English scanlators do the same thing and only release the translation, not the raw. Kalevala, for instance, tries to not release raws for anything being translated.

Listing a few other random ones...
Fusuma Cafe also put a few great ones out recently, 'Hero is Wriggle Nightbug' and 'The Strange illusionary string manipulation show'.
Vivit Gray's Wonderful Mine Treasure is pretty solid as well. The Immortal who saw the end of the universe by Alison Airlines is a good one.
Warugaki's Kogasa do your best series has some pretty great art and is pretty funny. Bomber Grape's stuff is pretty funny if you have a more random sense of humour, it's an alias for the author of Daily Lives of High School Boys I believe.
Urin's Wisp of Retribution is pretty well drawn if you're in for something more grimdark serious but it is extremely depressing.
There is also a anthology collection of short stories called Girl's Specialty by various circles but is overall extremely solid with some very good stories and art in a way you usually don't expect.

For me the problem isn't about "moderation". On the contrary, I think there needs to be more serious doujinshi with more hardcore yuri to balance out all the overly cutesy stuff.

While Yuuka is considered one of, if not the strongest 2hu, Kaneko's strength lies behind faith So if she gathered enough followers she could become even stronger than Yuuka.
Or it could be because she was the underlying cause for multiple incidents
