If we look at Ghostly Field Club, we have a track entitled 'Strange Bird of the Moon, Illusion of Mysterious Cat'. Zun has linked this motif with the cat with Maribel and the bird with Renko. When I look at a track like 'Schrödinger's Bake-neko' we could have a dual Chen song, or more Maribel stuff.
We all know how ZUN is with grimdark, this Dr.Latency could just be all bluster but then again, with the seriousness of LOLK's plot, I'm feeling uneasy.

Latency brings to mind Freud's psychosexual development theories. I'm sure Zun won't go whole hog with some of his wack stuff, but there might be some merit on investigating here.
