-Spring 2016 event has been announced to start on early May, it will be large scale and have a 3 week duration.
-Ooshio receives a blueprint Kai 2 at level 65, with 5 new quests added rewarding 2 medals and 2 furniture fairies.
-You can now choose whether to use any remaining Combat Ration and Offshore Resupply items before the boss battle.
-About 50 girls get temporary Coming of Spring seasonal voice lines, replacing White Day lines and Sukiya gyuudon sprites.
-For this month, Uzuki and Akashi are temporary drops in EO maps. Akashi drops in 1-5 only for those without her.
-Mutsuki and Kisaragi can now equip only Daihatsu craft at Kai 2.
-Akatsuki, Hatsuharu, Hatsushimo, Murakumo, Shigure and Ushio have their stats at Kai 2 buffed.
-Kawakaze will receive her kai 2 remodel this Spring, another Asashio-class is planned later.
-Pola of the Zara class is ready for implementation sometime this year.
-The Spring 2016 Event's theme will be "Combined Arms Battle". Iowa, who first appeared in the PS Vita game will be an event reward.
-The Kamikaze class is still planned to be added.
-Player-owned installations, land-based aircraft and their famed pilots are planned to be added. Mitsubishi G4M will be one such aircraft.

Once you got rid of that notion then you'd have reached the end game. Single player or public content is almost irrelevant when we're talking about the p2w edge. Using guild wars hardest stage solo clear time as an example, a p2w player with the right combination of gacha characters/summon and half decked weapon pool cleared through it almost twice as fast as me, even when my weapon pool for that element is almost maxed out. The difference will be more apparent when they have almost the same weapon pool as you and also significantly higher raw stats/better passives from gacha summons. It just isn't worth the time if you're f2p since it's designed in a way that you'll never be able to keep up with the power creep.
