Sumireko is the president of the Secret Sealing Club at that time (she created it), which contains only herself. Meanwhile, the club in Renko's time has only her and Maribel, as said right from the start in Ghostly Field Club.
Everything Sumireko talks about and brings in from the Outside World are modern things. In CoLA she recognizes stuff from pre-1980s that was "before her time", while she is herself a high-school sophomore. She becomes nostalgic about non-flipping cell phones, presents a smartphone with an e-book reader, and says it's her first time seeing a mini-disc player. It's not going to get much more explicit than that.
Stuff like this has been spattered throughout the series. Back in 2004 CoLA mentions the original Game Boy and refer to the newest being the DS, which had just released.
