From torrenting? No. It's not likely at all unless there's a big .exe and you open it. Websites are another story. Not in ages though and it was only from a DDL site I got fucked.
Do what I do. Only download from uploaders you trust. Check the files in the torrent and if you can, just do the torrents that only have the video, or only have the video and the cover/screenshots.
The bigger issue is some sites have nasty ads. Just use adblock and the like and you SHOULD be safe. If you're unsure about a site, go there on something you don't have sensitive material on or that can't get a virus. Like say... a 3DS, a Playstation, a WiiU, etc...

That's Sakuragi Rin, I think those are just scratches. She's a pretty big actress and she has a ton of videos over 10 years. When you search her name with self-injury nothing comes up.
