Yes, this sometimes happens. For me, usually the first heart fills very quickly and the last one is slow as hell. Usually I need 30 kills for the last quarter to fill up... but it's really just RNG. Keep going and you will get her.

How the hell does one use a Hiraga team in beginner EH without wiping out all opposition too fast too soon?
Most of the time i only get one salvo in.
I have learned to be satisfied with 2 out of spite, which is ultimately worse than what HH can do much more easily.
What's the secret? sacrificing salvo damage by using one weaker card to stall the fight till the unleashers finally do their job?
I'm not even sure it will change anything; as soon as i trigger the buffer it will become a rush to the finish wether i want it or not.
I want to make this work because my Gilgamesh team is flimsy as hell.
I got zero Celestia and have to rely on HSR buffers and GSR that don't match today's element.

It's Summer Oracle, 2 Hyper Alchemist, Hiraga and Candy Champion or Huang Long.
The latter has just enough atk+ to do max damage via Hiraga's Salvo so I use her to stall as long as I can. she still normally hits at 18k or so which is too much.
If I end up including a weaker card to stall longer, I'll replace Summer Oracle.
Maybe I just feel desperate because my Hyper Alchemists so far have done a very poor job, like almost unreal statistics-wise.

Don't know if this will work but you could try switching your HH and Gilgamesh, then replace an HSR buffer with a healer so you can last longer. Do you really have no buffer with higher than 200%?

My HH team uses 3 buffers including one that goes above 200% and is my only maiden that does so with passion cards. They're all GUR so there is no risk of any of them being taken out in beginner EH.
On the flip side I'm left with 200% buffers only to make my rag-tag Gilgamesh team works.
With this level of buff I really need 4 of them to do max damage.
It wouldn't be bad if they were Huanglongs but that's not the case: they're all passion HSR or dark GSR and one of them will most likely fold before they can all proc.
I can't afford to increase their defense at this point and I'd rather not.
That's why I want to make Hiraga work reliably.
I invested a lot in that lady and her teammates.

If they are both GUR and maxed out then yes, but from your case it seems like you just put all your good cards in one team so I think you could spread your resources a little better. For example, you could put your 250% buffer together with your HSR buffers and add a healer to make them last longer while still dealing comparable damage. I'm not sure how well this'll work out though, so you'll have to test it out for yourself.

Lamp is worthless. Make her into Genie with Aladdin if you haven't already. Get them to max level, then make them fall in love with you, perfect evolve, perfect amalga Genie
Excalibur isn't worth it. Combine them, get her to fall in love with you, then medal her.
Same with Thelxinoe but you'll need 5 before you combine and medal them. You'll get the other 4 from your alliance and she's cute. Always love first.
Same with Seducir, combine ---> love ---> medal

Gacha is one hell of a drug. In PaD even as a free player, I just keep randomly throw away my magic stones even when it's not a godfest with the monsters I need in the extremely unlikely case that I'd get a Dark Kali. Even though I know it probably won't work but sometimes I hear the voice in head saying 'Maybe this time'.

Well, if you have that many free jewels to throw away, I think your best bet would be fishing for her at Flip Summon: only do the first summon and if you do not see her in the lineup just reset for a new round. You can do that for about 4 times, which equates to 1k jewels, and save the rest 2k for the next time Flip Summon comes around.
Why couldn't Fortuna just be a normal special summon thing and not limited exclusive 3k jewels once ever bullshit, she was my first SR and I don't think I even would have played if I didn't get her when I did. Been waiting for updated version forever and figured since she's a free card maybe it would be free too, then this happens.

Almost any card can be worth it in different circumstances. AOEs are good in Alliance Ultimate Battle and normal PVP. They can also be good in Elemental Hall until you get multi hit cards and as defense cards. Upgrading one is probably not a bad idea.
GSR dual proc critters are good against normal arcwitches because they require the least number of buffs to kill AWs. But you only need 1. Never forget that killing arcwitches faster means more FAWs and LAWs
GSR self buffers can substitute for a GSR critter the same way, but can be better because of unleashers. Their disadvantage is they can be cleared and then you're sunk. Unless you have 30% unleashers they can be inconsistent. They have less use in EH and no use in PVP
Potentially Lu Bu and other ... I dunno what to call them, multi proc self buffers? can replace a GSR self buffer but she's not a GSR and has less potential as a killer. Up to your discretion.
Healers are good anywhere to keep a weak team alive but mostly are best at clearing campaign maps. You'll need at least one of some quality to advance the regular campaign map to unlock upgrades in your castle town unless you're willing to pay for restoring your troops. Up to you. I used Lina for months on my FAW team until better cards were introduced into the game that were available.
Turn skippers are universally good and work in all teams. Even LAW teams can benefit from turn skippers. They can substitute for your healer to clear campaign maps or work alongside a healer until you have a better team/more resources for campaign maps.

People generally don't have a lot of them, it's just that the lucky bastards who get 10 in a row are the ones most likely to post their progress. That being said, yes, MVPing goes a long way.
Actually I've noticed that even without MVPing, just dealing something like around 30% damage seems to improve drops. If I deal at least that, I almost never get an N card, always an R. So I assume it also increases the chances for higher rarity drops like SRs and the UR. In comparison, whenever I felt too lazy to actually fight and just activated autopilot, the droprates were absolutely abysmal.

Read up on LAWs in the info section in the game. Drops are increased by damage as well as getting the ace. Generally you get pretty good drop rates if you are consistently above 30m if you can do 60m+ consistently you have insane droprates in my experience.

HH/Gil are top tier for AW/FAW well there are premium version but nothing better
Hiraga acctualy IS better than any premium salvo card. Not to mention the sweet 300-450k Advanced EH kills with her. Beginer cheese gives more points per BP, but with hiraga you get mad points and great drops in AEH.
The only premium thing that holds value are dual buffers 400/200 ones can max HH/Gill damage in two buffs so this is huge advantage. And AOE unleashers for specific unit builds.

LAW yes since 250% dual is enough to max tap damage/burst damage in 3 proc. Running Chinoe/Dong/3x Jean and often 0bp killing this LAW.
But for other law and general FAWK 400/200% are nice. The 300/100 dont max defense in 3 buffs but again since this LAW dont debuff you can just bring her damage with debuffer to double digits and dont care about def.
Still 400% att 200% def buffer hold thier spot.

My 400% buffers does not have the defense part, as I said, they are 1 year old, from last years chinese new year event. I also don't really care much about soloing LAWs, I have a fairly active alliance, if I can consistently do 50m~ I'm pretty happy with my team.

Old FAW/AW come back in witch gates or even normal map (like HL and Summer Oracle last time). Not to mention there is ongoing powercreep and new cards are much stronger than old.
For example back in the day RR was 250% HUR buffer, some time ago they gave out for free (one at login second for finishing map) 200% buffer (element specific) that can be GURed and made into 250% buffer.
They improved newbie experience by alot with new dungeon (get 2 griffin copies btw, fill hearts on griffin AW) and then you just find good ally/killers send your shit and spend few events sending till you get AW capable team.

But in short
- allways max card before "fusing"
- whenever you fuse use YELLOW ARCANA
- ask lots of questions here, we will help
- get decent ally /jp/ allies should have some spot and they are preety active.

- abuse free vit from newbie status to advance in campaing map

Yes, pic related blue numbers next to 39999 are form shrines/unit bonus/color bonus and so on.
As you see maxing out cards + shrines/unit bonuses can easy double the attack.

From my experience, almost everyone likes getting FAW sends. Getting AWs killed is much more difficult, but once you built the Arena Lv 2 you can probably kill them yourself using 4x Military Band (N buffer) and the GSR Griffin.

There are 2 /jp/ guilds btw. Make sure to fill your comrade list with people, so you have enough killers. I would go to the event map and spend all your BP. This does require you to have people to kill your witches though. After that feel free to spend some time on the regular campaign. You need to get quite far to unlock your second kingdom.

I'd say do the event map while you have Battle Points, and do main campaign while your BP recover. Also, never use more than 1BP on an AW, request help from comrades.
When your infinite vitality is gone, you should mainly play the event map. The main campaign is actually pretty shitty and doesn't give you anything except after area 8 and 10, which you probably can't clear yet.

If you still have infinite vitality, take advantage of it by entering battles no matter how low your soldier count is and keep trying until your Griffin or your SR procs.
When you are at 1 soldier per card you litterally have nothing to lose doing this.
Back when I had to do this no one was offered free Griffin and my guaranteed SR ticket gave me Dragon Princess of all things

It's not as bad as it would first seem. It's 15 vit a step, but it's the bonus area that unlocks after having the FAW on your team.
It's only 20 steps as well, and the area reward is the laurels for the HUR FAW or LAW.

I think Lu Bu The Swift, Furfur, Eternal Fortuna, Race Queen and Balancer would be decent for FAW (try to get a better nuller as well as Single Unleashers with higher Proc Rate though).

Personally I'd favour Eternal Fortuna over Lu Bu since you have Genie. Once you get a multi-hit/salvo card you won't care for Lu Bu. You WILL care for unleashing the rest of your team at once (which is exactly what HHades style cards need).

This LAW does not cast Field to wipe your buffs. Genie buffs her def which is very relevant against LAW pokes. Provided you get lucky and Oracle doesn't LAW buff herself early, you could get some good hits in.

Decided to dig out Dong Zhou in my box and gave debuff team a try again and it worked out much better this time, her being GUR makes all the difference since Larxus sometimes died too fast last I used her. Switching from Huang Long to Azoth also helped since I could reach damage cap after 3 buffs even with non-maxed cards.

I also got 1 drop after only 4 kills. It seems a lot of people are getting drops of the LAW. They might have stealth buffed it for this event.
LAW not using field makes it easier to hit harder, which boosts drops. I wouldn't be surprised if it was stealth boosted further though.
