I went into this event understocked on fuel and buckets, but managed to complete the event at full difficulty.
I was almost entirely out of fuel (and hope) so my chances were riding on this last run. The beginning of the boss node went so terribly that I didn't have any hope for night battle, but decided that I might as well try. Shigure knocked the boss' health down to around 50 with a crit, but then Ooi aimed at someone else (and missed.) But then based KTKM-sama finished off the boss. My faith is restored in Shigure.
Didn't get to farm though. Maybe next event. Okinami (et al) can wait.

CLs aren't hard to make, the default recipe hands them out fairly frequently. Keep the DDs with strong second remodels; for reference just search "elitedd" on the wiki to see who is worth keeping in the long run.

well, if you've got the 1BBV, 1CV, 2DDs/CLs comp is very easy as long as you have the right equipment.
the important thing about Extra Operations of each world is that they award medals. 4 Medals can be traded for a blueprint and lots of Kai Ni and some rare Kai ships require then to remodel. EO get reset every month giving you the oportunity to win another medal but the earlier you start hoarding medals the better because you'll need a lot of then.
