All the abrahamic religions, hinduism and buddhism (at least in the not weird sects of them) don't have a demiurge or the equivalent in term of dominion as a sole god. You don't worship God as you'd worship the god of trees to have nice apples because you have to or because he will get angry if you don't. God is, supposedly, the litteral incarnation of what is right and the only way by which you can find true solace and completion (without God you'll never be Omereto'ed in the 26th episode). With tons of gods and no superior, even partial and/or abstract, concept of the divine as sole pureness everything is litterally pointless and leads to relative moralities at best if based on religious traditions. Damn, event the ancient greeks believed in a divine concept above the gods themselves.
