Original wc3 dots has Alice. It was nightmare. You have to micromanage Alice herself and all of her dolls ( 12 of them ) they divided in 3 groups and each one has their own abilities. It was like playing a piano, guitar, harmonica and drums at the same time. You also have to resummon all of them AND rebind all of your groups keys after you get killed.

Not him but Komachi was a lot of fun and is who I'm waiting for to get back into dots2 because wife. She was a str tank. She could switch places with someone, she had built in lifesteal and AA procs, and when she killed stuff they turned into invincible wisps that you could use as scouts and/or blow upon people after boxing them in. Her ult was a debuff that lasted a really long time, and if they dropped below a health threshold she teleported to them and fragged them instantly.
A lot of fun with teammates like Tewi or fuckin Yamame before they reworked her retarded AIDS debuff.
I mostly want Komachi, Yuuka, Mystia, Merlin and Orin. They were so fun.

Komatits was good and fun to play in comparison. Mobs you kill with her leave a souls witch disapear with time but invulnerable. You can control them and detonate them at will like remote mines ( each of them blow of % of enemys hp ). Her skill set is build around it. You can swap her position with opponent porting them into your souls. Her ultimate is instakill enemies who has less then half hps. You need good timing and some skill to actually score a kill so its feels really rewarding.

Not very. While both are mobas, the addition of ability power and skills scaling with AP/AD alone changes the whole item dynamic so that mages, marksmen and tanks build their own item branches. Dota has more items with strong effects, like an on-hit chance to stun, or an active that turns an enemy into a sheep for several seconds.

Depends on which nutrients you need to reach a set goal. No need for deletions; it's not ````trolling""' if you have a brain. (If anything, yours is the worthless post.)
A cursory search says dota is more complex and thus more punishing than lol. So, lol is better if you want something simple to pick up and play and get good results at without too much work. dota is better if you want a deeper tactical experience with a more tightly-knit team. No getting carried in dota.

It's her orbs. They peroidically fire like 80 damage shots at random nearby enemies, including towers. It's basically death prophet ult on crack, except also not an ult.

It was released earlier today and will be the only version of dots that will be supported un the future.
I know the new version has some minor balance changes + Murasa, but no tooltips are working, it displays default hero names (ie. Juggernaut ibstead of Youmu) and who knows what else is broken at the moment.
Whether to play the new or the old version will depend on the people playing, since there are no tooltips you have to know what things are and do.

There's none playing any of the DotS map at all now. Will probably take until the new map is fixed(tooltips and such) until people start playing again. They really should have waited to release the new map until such things were fixed.
And here I was hoping a new hero and update would make the game more popular again, not less.
