It procs randomly but yes, it may invoke ragnarok. Unless you can stomp dragons with impunity, avoid it, just keep it as a trinket.
It also spawns etherwind and destroys random map tiles.

It depends on the quality of the foodstuff you use to make it. Blessed and cursed shouldn't change it, unsure about +x from ranch corpses or cooking skill.
The one you get from the maid is fixed (+7 iirc).
In both cases whether it's blessed or cursed is random.

Guess no one get their hands on a lot of paintings early in the game. Treasure balls machines and stairs are good for rising ranks, since you can buy them fairly easy.
Also, why thief guild? Fighters' guild have decent sword as guildmaster's quest reward, and mages' guild has scribe. Thieves' just look lackluster.

If that's how you feel that's how you feel but for me, having played all the classes at one point or another, none of the classes struck me as being any more special than the other.
The warmage increased spell casting success is like splitting hairs for me. I was casting just fine as the other races. And I guess it almost goes without saying but starting skills may matter in the beginning but considering everyone can learn all the skills eventually, it doesn't really matter in the long run.

Most tier two rewards are pretty useful. Definitely get Kumi's, reviving herb plants is pretty useful. You can also get additional stones from the little sister quest, and they have separate cooldowns.
Itzpalt's too, if you ever plan to use elemental magic.
Big Sis' stone is an extra 10 pp per month, but it's not as useful after early game.
Get the gods' weapon you plan to use, Kumi's scythe is useful if you don't have Corgon's ring or something else for rotten food. The Lucky Dagger is also pretty good. Same for the Wind Bow, but it's ethereal. Get Itz's staff if you're lacking res.

Pets have their own formula in calculating the damage for their spells since they level individual spells like a player. Casting is a big part of this formula so raising a pet's casting skill will increase the damage it does with its spells.

You can find bosses like Cacy in the Void if for some reason you need to kill it again. Every 10 floors there's a random boss. Just hope it's Cacy.
Can I remove a single attribute from an item? I've got a ring with a lot of resists and other useful stats but it lowers speed by 27

I've been raising the Gardening skill quite a fair bit so far to start a herb farm that won't have any withered ones even when planted during the day. The cost of raising skill potentials had been reduced significantly since the last time I played Elona+, so it had been very easy to do so so far.
There is however an item I've seen people mention that helps significantly with herb farming - the Kurimori Scissors. How do I get one? There's only an entry under 'Other Items' on the wiki that briefly explained what it did, but nowhere else does it mention how you get one. Is it a South Tyris item? I've never actually beaten Zeome before, so never been there.

You'll learn very quickly that levels mean nothing in this game.
You could be level 100 and someone else's char at level 50 could have double your stats / skill levels if they trained their char properly and you didn't.
At very low levels though, whether or not you survive a dungeon is highly dependent on luck - what kind of mobs spawn, whether you get lucky with crits/dodging, etc...

It's called RNG. Welcome to roguelikes and enjoy your complimentary death!Tip: avoid dungeons for the time being, do board quests, level your skills, then start doing low level dungeons and huntings. Ignore escorts, you'll fail them. Read the pasta, playing elona (or any roguelike, for that matter) without knowing anything about the game is suicide.

You're missing nothing, just need to assign someone and you're golden.
It just takes a stupidly long time for pets to start procreating. Also check the breeding power, the higher the better. "Fast" breeders have a value in the hundreds.

When you assign a mob it will say something like "breeding power". The higher that number, the more likely to spawn offspring.
It takes a lot of time still, either way. Good to start early.
Make sure you fill up a bunch of ranches before you beat Lesimas and you will get a shittonne of spawns after the time lapse.

You load it up with magic vendors, other NPCs, and you furnish it with cool stuff. The higher your house rank the better your salary and get your house rank to 1 and you can invite the gods/goddesses over.
I personally didn't start playing around with the house feature of Elona until recently. Figured after 650 or so hours of adventuring and the fact my character is getting older and the little girl isn't so little anymore,it was time to start thinking about settling down a bit. Wish I had started sooner though. While I have clear ideas for what I want my house to have, furnishing it will be the hardest part as that takes time.
Anyhow, this is my house that is definitely a work in progress. I remodeled the palace.
1) Main hall and servants rooms. Want to eventually fill each of the servants room with a kotatsu, add more beds, and other stuff. Outside is 42 Kumiromi statues for those curious Some are not in the picture. Used for herb seed generating.
2) This will be my ball room. Want to fill it with more tables. The northwest corner will have a piano and maybe I'll change floor paneling here to be a platform. Probably have a bard/band stationed here. Northeast corner I want to be a bar. This is very much a work in progress.
3) The kitchen. Wanted it to have tons of stoves, refrigerators, cabinets, barrels, and boxes. Could be improved but I think it's looking good so far.
4) This will be the game room. Thinking of furnishing it with blackjack tables if possible and other casino related things.
5) The throne room. Wish I had all the solider statues the same color. I have a throne for both me and my little girl and in the northeast corner I have my work desk. Around my work desk I'll have all the presents, new year gifts, chocolates, and other items of affection stacked in piles. Behind the throne room is my bedroom and personal bathroom.
6) The magic stalls. This is where I keep my magic vendors.
7) The classroom. Where my pets come to learn from Yuki, my not so little girl. Also the place where the gods will get reeducated on how to properly govern/take care of the world. I swear I will chain Lulwy to the desk if I have to. That Etherwind needs to stop. Anyhow, want to add more desks and other classroom related items.
8) The church. Not happy with the way it looks but for now it's where I'm storing all the god statues.
9) The vault behind a secret book shelf. I store my artifacts here. Maybe I'll use wizard harvest and dump gold all over the place as well.
10) The outside bath.
Not even thinking about adding additional floors until I get what I have already furnished.

For the furniture rank, the treasure ball machines raise it quite a bit. Steal thrones and king beds from Palmia. Invest in the central vendors at the embassy, they sell decent stuff from time to time. Also steal a computer from the Cyberdome.
It's actually pretty easy raising your home to rank one just by furnishing rooms however you want.

The other anons have you covered for your answer. I personally am not paying too much attention to the rank since I'll get to number 1 in time simply because of my ambitions for my house. Most of the stuff I've furnished my house with has come from the invested vendors in the embassy, stuff I've found in the void, stuff I've found in story related dungeons(you can get lots of computers and servers from the story dungeon Machinery Fort). The problem is waiting for the vendors to stock what you want and in a color you don't find jarring. You can also pickpocket things you find nice as well.

I remember visiting moongates when I first started out and dying instantly most of the time because people kept monsters in their homes or something. I've pretty much avoided them after that.
But that's a good idea now that I'm stronger. I'll give that a try (assuming moongates aren't broken due to lack of server)

Smiths. Black markets have better items, but with the inflated prices they have, by the time you can actually buy something from them you'll have better items from random drops or bosses.
At least blacksmiths still offer improving services, which you may need every time you change a piece of your/your pet's equipment.

If you have seven league boots, don't keep it. If you don't have the boots or want to be stingy on potions of cure corruption, then it's not too bad.
Also, +1 or +2 your armour and weapons at the blacksmith. It's not too expensive and helps a lot.

Cure it. You're missing faster world map travel with league boots.
There's also something pretty wrong with your speed. It says 68 but it's debuffed. Burden shouldn't get you in red with that bonus from the hooves. Do you have equip that reduces speed? Get a restore from a healer or quaff some restore potions just to be sure. Even better if they're blessed.

Nope. Dual wielding checks for multiple weapons. Shield, tonfas and claws don't count as weapons in this case.

Picnic basket in my opinion is the best option, really easy to make and trains every single party member so if you're a pet spammer you'll love it.
Of course you should still buy potions of potential whenever you see one.

Yes. I know I started getting them more often after 150 invest. Also on the subject of magic vendors, after you get your economy going, mass buy and bless scrolls of wonder. Easier than reading some books, only way to get some spells, flat 200 stock. Even if you're not a mage, some spells always come in handy.

I don't have Fron so I can't test it out myself but yeah you'll be going down pretty deep. At lv 360 of the void, where I'm currently training my character and pets, I'm able to get AP for all of my pets. Surprisingly, even God inside Ehekatl is getting AP down here with an INI of 3114/333.
Since Fron has it even worse for INI, I would imagine it will be at least lv 360 of the void but probably deeper. Since I'm not sure how many people are even doing the void in this thread,I thought I'd at least throw up some number help you out. If you haven't been down to these levels before, come prepared. The god type creatures are starting to show up and Yith creatures are all over the place down in these levels.

Depends on what you're using the weapon for. If it's for damage you want the hit dice to be big and if it isn't you're going to hope the attributes make up for that damage either through invokes or something else. Most of the time the invokes don't make up for the damage though and I just discard them for bigger hit dice weapon. If it's just being used for resists or something non damage related then you don't care about hit dice.

afaik, martial arts is bugged currently or is working in a way that kinda sucks. The multi strike doesn't activate nearly enough to make it do enough damage as other modes of attack. I suppose you can get by with the skill if you grind it out, but just know everyone else will probably be having an easier time dealing damage with weapons or spells.

Just run dungeons, give yourself a DL limit like "no higher than 5" so you don't push up your DLs to unmanageable levels early on. You can probably keep it up nearly indefinitely because the world will probably reset before you can run them all.

Theoretically it's possible but I myself have never gotten a rod of wish this way. The only thing I use alchy rods for are to make zero charge rods into new rods and hope for the best in what it turns it into. The new rods come fully charged. I find this a decent alternative to throw away rods since the rod draw and fill exchange rates are horrendous. Draw and fill should only be used on rods you really want around. Everything above, assuming that you want to either blast at full power or can't use dupli for.
