Nutaku is dam generous for giving out 5* for free just by completing story mode, you will never get that kind of deal in the DMM server.

High level warriors, ronin and thief with appropriate equipment can wreck absolutely shit with their attacks, but they are pretty fragile at low level. Even Anna, the free 3* warrior you get from story quest with her CW+3 can melt anything that isn't a soldier with her personal skill.

I can clear it if I just focus on the top lane killing the lich takes a ton of resources, I ignore bottom lane. I got the drop from the lich already but I don't see a way to avoid killing him without taking to much damage. I might be able to kill all the goblins in the first wave and ignore all of the second. This pseudo-break in FKG was actually pretty nice, got to clear up to the sixth/seventh ultimate map for each day. Eighth map onwards has double bosses though, I don't think they can be tackled unless you have 5+ rainbows or ampule boosts in addition to good assists.
Also, second LN has been announced and is to be released at the end of February. Main character is an amnesiac Wolfsbane, other girls are Cosmos, Chocolate Cosmos, Aburana and Kuchinashi, and the setting is Winter Rose.

I've played 4 GRs total so far (3 on DMM, 1 on Nutaku) and got all gold units from all of them without using SC for for gold units (I've used some SC on grinding plats after getting golds, but plats are different story).
Everyone I know managed to get all gold units too, so if anything, its terrible luck to not get them.
Drop chance for gold is 5%, you should be able to clear it in 20 runs if you don't have Cellia and out of luck.
Well at least with drop rate up I get all the orbs I don't need in one run instead of over five runs.

Spirits give 1.5x exp multiplier if different rarity, the 2x is for same rarity as you now know.
Spirits are also used to class change units (need same rarity as well), and there's also a skill up spirit (rainbow)

So now that it's clear the Nutaku experiment has failed, let's discuss reasons.
Is it the company that caused it, whether through poor decision making or over-reach? Was it something to do with DMM, perhaps they're pressuring Nutaku into bad decisions? Or is it just that the West isn't ready or willing to support online TCGs?
Personally I think it's the later, the whole gacha thing is a VERY Japanese thing that doesn't translate well to other countries. Add in the bad pr that came from the whole "no lolis" stuff (that would turn most die-hard Otaku off, which are the ones who you can actually whale) and you end up with a recipe for failure.

Not gonna lie, when I first played Aigis, I had just come out of a Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem binge.
When they introduced retreating/withdrawing, I thought: "Oh shit there's perma death in this game."
I worked my ass off to retreat units before they got killed, often leaving my hearts exposed to fail the map shortly after.
Funny thing: I spent some SC and rolled a Themis and she was the first to die on "Tomb of Sorrows." I was so distraught because I thought I lost one of my major outputs of DPS (ignoring defense and all that)
I checked my unit list to see her still there and to be delighted as fuck. Now she warms the bench.

if you have silver units that you still want to level up you can do 3 fooder + 1 fairy so you get more exp that way

You could always save up 30 before using them. Each month the game tallies the amount of crystals used (I assume it is only that which is used on gatcha) and gives you a stamp card for the new month based on how much you used.
I think 30 is the amount to get the next level (silver) stamp card. If you see a girl you like, try for it, but keep in mind you probably won't get her.
