There are some things to consider, do you have two mages at good lvl? if not, Solano
Do you need a somewhat decent duelist? (to be nerfed in the future) then Horace is the answer
Also note that Solano doesn't CC so she will take less exp to max.
As for the awaken, if you are refering to these two, Solano without any doubt. As for other units, its very relative to what you have.

I'd advice starting with standard set rather than gacha ones because its much easier to find working strategy that way. But Mikoto, Leyla and Berna are all very good units, and should be high priority as well.

While I'm usually not in favour of censorship, I think most of the edits for the IOS version are actually quite well done. They fit well with the outfits and often add a lot of additional details to them. It's at least the kind of censorship that doesn't just take something away, but also adds things in its place. I still prefer the uncensored version, but it's the kind of censorship that I can at least respect because it does something creative. For example, they could have just covered up Sorano's skin with more white cloth, but instead they chose to give her a new and polished outfit overall, which has a kind of hogwartsy feel to it.

Yep, as far as I understand the moon writing, we will get an emergency mission for her on the 29th. People with IOS will just get an additional copy. 1.You can get only up to 50% affection before class change. When a unit reaches 100% you get considerable boost so it's always good to max it. And yes, it doesn't change when you class change.
2.Fairies double EXP when used when leveling up a unit of the same rarity. They're often used with EXP armors from monday daily to max the gains. You also need one for class change.
Mind you, copper fairies are mostly useless. Off rarity fairies give only 1.5x multiplier, but it's worth it to stick the copper ones with random fodder

1) Those stay if you evolve (CC). No difference whether you pump affection before CC, you can still hit max after CC.
2) EXP multiplier fairies. Try this experiment: select a bronze (copper) unit to level up. Select some EXP fodder. Then select 3 bronze fairies. Observe how much EXP you'd get, then (after cancelling the feed) try again with just 2 fairies. Then with iron fairies.

You get to keep the stats but reset levels, as well as get some extra things like increased range for ranged units, more block for armors and soldiers, in some cases improved skill, some units get faster attack speed, ect.

For lower rarity fairies, sure. Once you get a regular income of plat units from full event participation, expect to need a lot of plat fairies. Especially once you start getting EXP armours (Monday dailies).

So, we've got a bunch of stuff happening this time. Nutaku is finally implementing Gold Rush, and the iOS version of Aigis has been released.
On that note, the following link shows some of the units that had their outfits changed for Apple. I'll admit, they're all high-quality edits unlike a certain localizer. Despite that, there are some edits that will make you question Apple's sanity while and some that actually look a lot better than expected when thinking of censored outfits.
