-Tanikaze and Ooyodo will receive a Christmas sprite, Takao and Agano class new voice lines along with others.
-New combined fleet added for the purpose of transport operations.
-Armor debuffing is back for the Extra Operation maps.
-3 new equipment: Bf 109T kai, Fw 190T kai and the 10.5cm Twin Gun Mount.
-4 new ships: Kashima, Graf Zeppelin, Hagikaze and Arashi. The drop only ships drop on all difficulties.
-Katori class is now able to give their exp bonus outside of flagship position in PvP.

I think maybe they fucked something up with the accuracy on DDs. They are supposed to be able to hit imps semi-reliably, but from my personal experience, it's just pure RNG. I know it was broken at the beginning and was since claimed to be "fixed", but I really didn't notice the difference no matter what setup I tried.

I tried E5 easy a few times to see how it was, I think you guys are overestimating its difficulty. It's definitely harder to consistently S rank the boss but A ranks felt pretty trivial.

Before the fix a torp cut-in from Yukikaze would do at best 2 damage if not outright miss and I was stuck not being able to even get to the boss, but afterwards they pretty much died to any DD gun, torp cut-in and yellow guns. Aerial support was actually pretty unreliable for me in regards to taking them out, but the fleet reliably took them out easily.

Finally cleared event hard mode. Graf farming and E4 last dance was hell on buckets and time and took the majority of the event time at around 2 weeks. Then RNG trolling these past 2 days on E5 while depleting the TP bar has almost made me go insane. At least I was able to get Arashi with an A rank during one of the runs which helped me keep my cool for a while longer. Feels free man.

I've been switching between KTKM and Tone (radar, three guns, two bombers, everything, bombers seemed to be the best) and can't decide which is better. Tone chokes all the time but rest of fleet performs better when she's around, overall they can be considered equal choices.

Red guns on CL can kill PT shits just fine, not sure about CAs.
Source: Ooyodo with 2 red guns did 80 damage to a PT shit while debuffing E4.

I'm not having much trouble killing the boss without the debuff. Fleet is:
Sendai Kai Ni with 2x 6 star OTO 152mm and yasen scout plane
Yuudachi Kai Ni with 2x 5 star 12.7cm and star shell

my biggest problem is just getting to the boss, because the DDs like to give me random taihas on the day node and first yasen node. after those, I'm home free and pretty much guaranteed an S-rank on the boss with CV support. About 1 out of every three runs I get to the boss.

I used red guns in over 100+ runs. If they want to miss or do 1damage, it doesn't matter what guns you use.

Run aerial support CVL's filled with torpedo bombers since it's cheap. It can bag up to 4 of them at a time.
