Well Byakuren is a lapsed Buddhist. Some sects of Buddhism like Tachikawa-ryu, which Byakuren could have come across before she was sealed, do not explicitly forbid sexual practice but embrace it as a means toward enlightenment. It also suffered from accusations of black magic and later became kind of a black sheep among Shingon Buddhism in Japan and was exiled.
Who knows what Byakuren actually belonged to, though. But like her brother I would think Kegon-Shingon Buddhism, specifically Shigisan, which is the practice of Chogosonshi-ji, the "real-life" Myouren Temple. Byakuren was also an old woman before she even came into contact with Myouren at their old age.
