Why not webm, anon?
>>14433724I still can't into webm from a stream.
>>14433729
Use FFMPEG
After setup, use commands:
>to stream
ffplay -i mmsh://center3.ntt-fukushima.com/n-jraizu
>to record as webm for 4chan posts
ffmpeg -i mmsh://center3.ntt-fukushima.com/n-jraizu -an -y -b:v 700k n-jraizu.webm
>record as video with sound
ffmpeg -i mmsh://center3.ntt-fukushima.com/n-jraizu -acodec copy -vcodec copy n-jraizu.mkv

ffmpeg -i input.avi -y -filter:v "setpts=0.00390625*PTS" -b:v 700k -r 30 output.webm". (256*0.00390625 = 1)
>>14433768
Tried uploading a test webm.
"Error: Bad video stream. Only VP8 is supported."Also, assuming that 700k means it's supposed to stop at 700kB filesize? It went past that and I had to close out of the window. I've not really done much when it comes to command line stuff.
>>14433829
No, 700k means kb per second.
Did you press Q to stop recording when you decided to end?
I haven't really done much either.
>>14433858
>q to stop
I didn't see that before, whoops. Though the same error happened again. For some reason I guess it's not outputting VP8? Is there additional stuff I have to install for ffmpeg?
>>14433869
Yeah this is a bit beyond me as well.
But quick google indicates that you have to compile ffmpeg with libvpx support as it can encode VP8.

>>14433896
I'll read up on it and try to figure it out. Thanks for the help!

Heh I'm glad it works now, but it seems like a painful unnecessary step to have to do this.
Probably read up on the above link sometime, hopefully it will solve the problem and you won't have to do this extra step. Helps in the long run.
Also this is probably my OCD, but kindly consider putting the datestamp as the filename (you may have noticed thats what I've been doing above} also helps when looking through old pics and vids.
>>14434021
As I said, I'll definitely read up and try to find out how to get it working without the additional process. And you're right about timestamping files. I'll probably do that for the rest of them.
Still no snow.

Hello again /jp/, Anon that went the other day here again. My phone died on me shortly after I arrived and I only realized then that I forgot my charging brick. I will post the rest of the photos from my brief visit.
Aizu Railway train. Came in from the south rather than on JR. I recommend taking this way, it's very mountainous and there are may hot spring villages on the way.
View looking south towards the majority of town.
Looking south, same spot on the walkway as the last photo.
Service tracks to the west of the station.
Park in front of the station.
A few steps from the park picture, Looking at the station.
Same spot as last, looking into town where the large hotels are.
Cafe next to the station.
The front of the station, from under the covered area. Long line of coin lockers here.
Some from inside the station.
And finally, just before getting on board.
