Is there even need for a system like that officially? You can just self-impose said challange, in fact perfect runs are a thing.
With lolk it got pretty much confirmed ZUN adds systems and difficulty based on the story, so I doubt there will ever be a permadeath mode since it goes against the very principle of danmaku.

The simple fact that there isn't any autobomb system like almost every other danmaku games makes my tolerance limit pretty tight.
He also does shit, lately, like if he doesn't even care anymore about his games that start to slowly look like all the commercial garbage you find everywhere, so if he'd make them even harder I'd just stop to play them.

An autobomb typically drains all bombs when used. It is an extra life when you are one life. I think the system is disgusting.
