I'm a bit of a noob at programming. The controls are the same as the default for Touhou games. Right now, all you can do is fight a pretend boss over and over. Eventually, I'm going to put mobs, a subboss, an actual boss, and actual graphics instead of floating circles.

Any kind of altered chord sounds good with the proper voice leading, but only if you use them sparingly. If you use them everywhere, they'll lose their uniqueness and the music just sounds muddy. I say this from experience.

Yeah, you're really just drawing symbols, anon. Do gesture studies, the "cafe croquis" channel on youtube has a good series of videos for that. Having dynamic gestures on your characters makes them so much more pleasurable to look at.
