Why are their servers so shit? Now I'm getting these errors on like 50% of tags. And they want me to pay $20 so I am able to search more tags that will time out?
I would just exclusively use Safebooru but I'm hooked on the autocompletion feature.
Use gelbooru. It's the same as danbooru but lets you used as many tags as you want without paying a cent.

Danbooru is objectively shit. Fuck their tag search limit and their shitty servers.
Sankaku? That's a place where they haven't even heard of quality control.. Plus, I've been 403'd too many times to count.
Gelbooru would have been okay if it weren't for that ad page suddenly taking over some of the new tabs i've been opening, lack of wikis, proper translations and their somewhat lax control. But it's still "decent" enough to be my regular booru.

I've seen some really good images flagged for deletion by moderators, and some mediocre or generally bad ones being accepted.
They're all bad now. Sankaku was the last place that didn't censor a specific tag but they caved.
