Honestly, I've not really had much like finding more stuff like LTS, but TK's solo stuff is alright. Not as good as early LTS, though.
And the core sounds are different, but I like Midori and Haisuinonasa for the same sort of reasons I like LST.
LST is like, Punk with a Post-Hardcore/Shoegaze twinge, Midori's a mash of Punk with Jazz and Noise, and Haisui's kind of Punky with more of a Mathy sound.
Haisuinonasa:

There're hardly any good YT uploads of Midori though. All that stuff is on the /mu/ archive though.

Okay, I got an invite from this thread a few days ago. Holy shit it's easy to get ratio on JPS, at least compared to what.cd where my ratio is barely 0.5 despite better-than-average internet. I've uploaded exactly 0 bytes but my ratio is already over 5.
For those not in JPS, you automagically got points from connected torrents even if they are not uploading a byte. You can exchange these points for upload. It feels amazing not having to worry about this shit and just enjoy the music.
The downside is, of course, that there are unseeded torrents on JPS. I guess one could also play the system by 'seeding' a torrent but throttling the upload to dial-up speeds.
>>13329709
You might be the guy I invited. I usually send bonus points to you guys as a little help to start.
>>13329709
Thats how most private trackers work
And theres really no point in throttling upload speeds, I'm seeding 500+ jps torrents at all times and it's still rare that I see anyone downloading off me, and even if they do its over in a few minutes. If you are doing something where you don't want it your internet to slow down at all like playing a game, you can easily just turn off the torrent program or pause everything until you are ready again

Thanks anon, A Challenge to Fate is really nice so far. I thought it was about to be 11 tracks of screaming but the guitars are beautiful.
>>13336728
You're welcome! Here's another band with a great psych sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBMlhqLoeIw
>>13336746
Oh, I love Up-Tight. They're like a mellower LRD. I get that with Shizuka and Suishou no Fune too.
>>13336788
Yeah, totally. I'm always looking for more mellow psych rock, like, as you said, Shizuka and Suishou no Fune. Stuff like High Rise is good too, though.

I had this as a bootleg on my HD for a couple years and was really glad to see it officially released
As a long time Final Fantasy fan, Nobuo Uematsu is my favorite composer, but in particular my favorite works of his are of his The Black Mages and Earthbound Papas bands.
For close to ten years, my favorite songs were the high energy ones, but only recently I've grown to really appreciate the softer, more heartfelt songs. Here are some of those songs. Uematsu is a genius.

A handful of you guys probably know of him already, but I adore Kashiwa Daisuke's work. The guy has a really unique blend of glitch, ambient and classical stuff.

Did anyone ever find >>13272624 ? It's a really amazing album, and I've only been able to download very low-quality .mp3s from some a streaming website. I found a 196k DL to one song, and the quality really does make a difference...
Seriously... Would buy the able myself, but I don't live in Japan...
宇宙コンビニ are fucking great

Don't be. Give us your seed ratios and make an account courtesy of the invite fairy.
>>13349666
This is my problem: I've never used torrents before. Thus I never asked for an invite whenever these come up because I know it's unlikely I would get one if I just start seeding. I just pray they get uploaded somewhere soon, since I get my own computer tuesday.
>>13342053
just buy it off amazon japan, they ship to america (shipping will be like 10 bucks but it'll arrive in 3 or 4 days)

Anyone know where to download music from the Oricon pop charts?
I found a torrent Oricon 1970-2012 with the top50/100 from every year, but it has no seeds...
Is there a place to get CD's for things like visual novels ? Especially unpopular ones that don't get uploaded to the net.
>>13278225

Dude has a nice voice. He sings at around the 2:45 mark

It's あきお. He's the main vocalist for Sugar's Campaign. He's got a niconico account where he has utattemita videos too.

So check that out or get Sugar's Campaign album if you wanna hear more of him.

That's one of my favorite tracks from that album, and this isn't Japanese, but it totally reminds me of the style of production from MF Doom's Doomsday album.
