Has anything memorable even happened in the last few years? Ever since stupid spam died down, I can't think of anything worth remembering that has happened. It's just ass and tits threads 24hours a day.
How can /jp/ become more lively, but without shitty spamming?

I'm asking what sort of good content should be posted. I honestly have no idea. Talking about any sort of Japanese game, doujin or not, will probably just get no replies or >>>/vg/. This gos for old /jp/ topics that aren't untranslated VNs too. Almost all other content is on a single general.
Unfortunately most subjects have been corralled into generals which attracts the worst people and the worst behavior- I don't consider them as part of /jp/ but rather an expanding tumor.
I don't know what to tell you other than to try and create the threads anyway.
The meido can be very capricious, however.

There's only three I know of; one is in Spanish (Bienvenido a Internet), and the other two do it in a half-assed way (SAoVQ and 4-ch).

The others I know of are text-mode /b/-/pol/ (i.e. /prog/rider isn't anything like/prague/at all), so of course they don't count.

So which did you guys enjoy more:
The original or the second episode?
Just got the true ending of the second episode and playing through one again right now.
1 was better but it wasn't very good to begin with. 2nd episode was awful.
I really enjoyed 2, like its atmosphere and it was a fun read, but the pacing was very slow.
1 had a lot of problems with its story, while 2 had too many characters.
Two did have a pretty slow pace, and the horror element was more just on the creepy side of things.
The first one felt more... artistic? in how it went about with things. The way some characters spoke, the way people were murdered, etc etc felt more beautiful in a way which I really loved.
Overall I like the second one more though with like was mentioned, the atmosphere among other things. Might have also been aided by a better translation and/or writing. It was more relaxing to read.
Hoping that KnS 3 finds the happy medium between the two for something spectacular.

I believe you're japanese.
you know, fantasy chuunibyou is getting old, especially in mad science. I liked Steins;Gate because although Okabe's portrayal of chuunibyou and megalomanic mad scientist, the syndrome itself doesn't depend on mythopoeic ideas, but rather hard scientific fantasy. This is extremely rare and need to be explored more.
