good books/vids explaining how to draw/render drapery?
Famous Artist Course has a good chapter on clothing/drapery

Videos aren't specific to drapery, but rendering. IMO it's a bad habit to try and think "this is how I render drapery" and "this is how I render cars". Light obviously behaves differently with different materials which you should learn but the basics of direct light, highlight, shadow core, cast shadow, and reflected light go a VERY long way and are fundamental to rendering of all objects, regardless of shape or material. Complex forms like drapery is just like the long division of rendering. It takes longer but you're still applying the same fundamental concepts of lighting.
I too wouldn't mind seeing if anyone has anymore good resources on this topic

Offtopic but I found this on his facebook page pretty interesting. Pic related:
"Close up of old painting...2006 right after I left waterstreet...interesting to me looking at it because this is before I understood anything physically about color....I was so focused on form and still thought color was a separate optical experience. ..so yeah, she gets a little yellow and little purple in spots...."
I personally think this looks way better than his recent stuff.

Also, his drawings are more interesting than his finished paintings. IMO.
What about drapery reference?
