>>2605273 My technique is to hold the pen perpendicular to the page and rest my hand on the last joint of my pinky finger to keep the pen a set distance from the page, then lower the pen until the bristles barely touch the page. Then it's just a matter of moving your entire hand along the x and y axis and anticipating how the bristles will bend compared to something like a technical pen. It's doable, but there are better tools for the job if you're looking lay down fine lines of ink.
