I'm curious to know what /ic/ thinks of Tan Zhi Hui. Personally I think he's a great example of an extremely stylized artist who can still show off a great amount of skill. Although I imagine the severeness of his work may turn off a lot of people.

Some of the detail is nice, but his stylistic choices seem to hiding a lot of his flaws. I'd say he's better as a graphical designer than an artist.
It took me well over a minute to even see what was going on in the first picture, with the samurai thing slicing open the woman's chest piece.
